“Hippos were there for us”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2014

This place was very peaceful and we were very lucky as the hippos made an appearance for us. A lot of people were not lucky enough to see them.

“Hippos and more hippos and the odd croc...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2014

On the tourist trail but worth a visit, been twice, first time saw a crocodile second time lots of hippos, although the underwater view point is a bit of a waste of time.

“Interesting but needs upgrading”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

Pleasant walk past the springs and it's possible to see hippos and crocs. The underwater chamber is in serious need of renovation and upgrade but interesting.

“Nice Walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2013

A visit to the Mzima Springs a definate. The walk is concrete and well sign posted. There is a lot of bird life around. We passed some logs and there was a crocodile having a nap just beside the walkway (highlight of our walk). The view in the sunken hut is good where fish can be seen very close in the clear waters. There are some hippos but were not lucky.

“Good Walkabout”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 23, 2013

We visited the springs in November and it was great to be able to get out of the safari bus and walk around for a while. We were accompanied by a KWS ranger who was very knowledgable and showed us the hippos, crocs and monkeys. It is well worth a visit to be able to walk around amongst the wildlife.
