Very different from the Mara Triangle experience. The vegetation and the wild life are varied but due to the abundance of high trees the animals are not easily spotted. However, the Lodge itself was a very good experience. The room balconies and the dining area face a couple of large waterholes which are frequented by a variety of our four-legged friends. Zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, warthogs, gazelles, etc. The property has put lights around the waterholes which makes it very easy to spot the animals throughout the evening and night, Early in the morning one can see Mt. Kilimanjaro's snow-covered top to the west right from the balcony. Overall it was a nice visit.More
