We spent a night at this tented camp some hundred meters from Lake Nakuru National Park's Gate. Tents are erected on a concrete base with ajoining wc-shover and a veranda. There is even a small swimming pool with jacuzzi in the area.
The tents are pretty close each others, so you might hear neigh'bour sounds from other tents. But so it is in most cases.
When arriving from Nairobi in the afternoon we were welcomed with drinks and a decent buffet lunch.
The afternoon game drive offered us flamingos (of course!), pelicans, water buffalos, antilopes, hyenas etc. etc.
A nice surprise were many rhinos and a lonely leopard high on a tree.
The dinner was nicely served (after a short power cut) in the airy, flamingo decorated restaurant.
In the morning, there was some noice from the nearby settlements (cocks crowins, matatus honking etc.), but that was also the time for early morning tea (on you verandah) and morning game drive.More
