“Not to be missed”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

If you go to Jordan, this is not to be missed. To sleep in the middle of the desert with its peaceful and quietness and to look at the sky full of stars and enjoy true Bedouin hospitality. From the quality of the beds and tents to the cleanliness of their facilities and superb food, Rainbow Camp at Wadi Rum was amazing. The highlight of our trip to Jordan. Do not miss Rainbow Camp in Wadi Rum and Go Jordan Travel Agency. They made our trip one of our best ever!

“Beautiful desert”
Reviewed June 6, 2013

Had fun doing jeep tour to see inscriptions, rock formations, sand dunes and enjoying other sites and the calmness of the desert. We also enjoyed the delicious tea and dinner at the camp. I'd like to go back to see more, do some camel trek and hiking.

“Monoliths in a Red Desert”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Wadi Rum never disappointed us, when at last we arrived to see this unique and wonderful part of Jordan ( January 2012). If you are planning a trip to Jordan then Wadi Rum should be on your list.
The beautiful starkness of the red desert and the gargantuan monoliths is just stunning. We stayed two nights and the day in between and had the most fantastic day taken by jeep around Wadi Rum- seeing various places including the big and small arches Umm Fruth, various unusual rock formations, the "small" sand dune which was massive, Lawrence of Arabia's house and spring, and the Bedouin Cemetery. There are ancient petraglyphs here in a number of hidden spots, which was very interesting. Our guide along with his brother cooked an authentic Bedouin lunch for us, given bottled water and sage and mint tea in copious amounts. Finally we watched the sunset, sitting on top of one of the rock formations looking over where the red and white deserts meet, an absolutely memorable day, we loved it.
We stayed at Wadi Rum Discovery Bedouin Camp full board basis. The camp has toilets and showers ( cold water only). The Bedouin food was delicious.
I would advise to wear a comfortable pair of sneakers/joggers, plenty of sunscreen, and hat. We visited in winter and were hot in the middle of the day-however it does get very cold at night

“Jordan's best site!”
Reviewed June 1, 2013

Loved, loved, loved Wadi Rum!! What an expansive, lovely desert with multi-hued rocks and sand dunes that change colors as the sun rises and sets. Had a fun jeep tour for a few hours and saw many massive rock formations and ochre sand dunes. Then the best part for me was riding a camel in the desert with the Bedouin. My only regret is that the Exodus tour I was on did not have us stay at a Bedouin camp. It would have been really great to sleep out under the stars at night in Wadi Rum. I'd like to return sometime and hike in the area for a few days.
