The resort is a unique place in the Israeli hotel scene , it's probably the best.
The location is magical, very well designed, with a great thinking about the atmosphere in / out of the rooms. The rooms are extra large, with generouse and lovely design, like all the place. The food is superb, we had breakfast & dinner it was tasty !
We had a room with terrace, which was a better choice if you don't take the rooms with pool.
Take in mind that the main pool is cold, very cold but other than that the place is perfect, the service is also efficient and welcoming,I recommend to try!

Room Tip: Take the upper room unless you upgrade to a room with a privat pool

The property takes full advantage of the jaw dropping views of the Ramon Crater. It can be a tad noisy in the dining and pool areas, but back in the room there is plenty of quiet and privacy. Well worth it, especially if you take the crater view rooms with plunge pools. Make sure to take the jeep ride into the crater.

Located on the edge of a desert crater, this Hotel fits in perfectly with the environment, superb view of the desert, great swimming pool, outstanding food and very friendly and helpful staff. One of the best Hotels that I've stayed at and very much worth the stay.

Planned as a retreat for couples, its family policy undermines the concept. As the hotel rooms and pools are far from being private and secluded it only takes just several families to change the quiet atmosphere. So if you are looking for serenity and privacy, go elsewhere. And its a shame, as the hotel was defenitly not designed for family vacations. Food is mediocre hotel food, but friday night was a joke, with a cantina like buffet and nowhere else to go. Really does not judrify the price. Not again.

One of the nicest places we've ever stayed out! This place is truly amazing. Especially for Israel standards. Buildings are designed to fit into the desert scenery. Our room was amazing. We had a nice size plunge pool which we truly enjoyed. Our platform bed was extraordinarily comfortable. The bathroom was first class. We had a family room and the kids had a very very nice separate room. Plenty of space in this "Family Villa". Seeing the sunset and sunrise in Mitzpe Ramon is a highlight. Truly beautiful desert, A truly unique experience. LOVED IT!!!!!

Room Tip: Get a a villa with a plunge pool. Try to get one closer to the main lodge.

We just spent two nights at Beresheet -- wow! Coming into the complex you can tell it's different and then walking into the lobby and seeing the amazing view of the Crater is breathtaking! From the moment we arrived Beresheet was not only beautiful, it was also committed to service. From the first bell man who took our bags and parked our car, to Rickey at check-in, to the hostesses at the restaurant, to whomever it was who called each evening just to see if we needed anything, Beresheet made us feel welcomed and valued as guests.

Now to the room. We decided to splurge...Crater Room with Pool...and it was worth what we paid. The room decor is beautiful, modern in desert tones (the whole place seems to grow out of the landscape). We walked in and the entire view - from our bed out to our lounge chairs on the deck and our private pool, and then to the Crater....unbelievable! Watching the light change in the crater during the day is magical. BTW, we were in room 321 where, when you sit at your pool, you do not see the main building, only the crater (you can also see the pool next door, but it is up a level and felt separate).

We were so pleased that, rather than the full buffet that we found at another spa, at Beresheet your are seated and a staff member takes your order for drinks, entree (and later desert) and then went to the buffet for a wonderful array of starters and salads. The same is true for breakfast when you may order your coffee and eggs, and then go to the buffet. SEATING: We found that the main room was loud (there were lots of children) and we waited the first night to be seated on the porch. It was great and we had all of our meals out there.

One area that they could address to make the place even better -- the waiting room at the spa. A few chairs on either side of the main desk, not so comfortable. Similarly the sauna and steam room were not great (do you really need a sauna in the desert). That said, our treatments and the rooms they were in were lovely and the post-treatment relaxation room was beautiful.

This is a very special place and well worth a trip to the Negev.

What a surprise. One of the top hotels that I haver ever stayed at. The architecture is sensational, service and food superb and rooms awesome. It really is an Oasis in the desert and you can't afford to miss it unless you can't afford it - it's not cheap!!
