My wife and I stayed here in June for 2 nights.
As mentioned by many TA contributors this is a unique property. The rooms are spacious, modern, clean, beautiful bathroom (including a great hairdryer for my wife). The balcony was large and peaceful. The main pool area had plenty of loungers but the pool was not heated and so was uncomfortable to use. There is a heated indoor pool nearby. The food was ok-nothing outstanding as you might expect from this property and the price that it charges. The service was very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Get a crater view with a balcony.

I am from Israel and usually I find the hotel and especially the service pretty average. But Beresheet hotel is by far one of the best hotels you find in Israel. The food, the service, the rooms and of course the amazing view of the crater is absolutely perfect.
If you ever want to have a vacation with total relaxation come to this hotel.

The desert is a stark and barren place but the Beresheet makes the most of its surroundings and has built a hotel that fits right in with amazing views over the crater. It rates as one of the top hotels that I have stayed at in Israel. The service was better than most other hotels in Israel and certainly better than any of the other Isrotel Hotels that I have stayed at. We opted for the suite with the pool. It would have been great if it hadn't been completely open so that everyone could see us when we used it but it was fantastic to sit on our own veranda listening to our music and enjoying the pool on our doorstep. The room was very nicely appointed though my husband and I didn't rate the decor in the dining room of the main building. It looked like it had been built in the 70's but I know its only a couple of years old. My husband raved about his entrecote steak and his burger saying that they were amongst the best he had ever eaten, whilst I wasn't impressed with my salmon on the first night but enjoyed my fish wrapped in grapes leaves on the second evening. Breakfast for me was not anywhere near as good as other Israeli hotels (more to do with the taste of the food) but my husband seemed happy enough with the choice. They gym is large and has a good selection of equipment and the spa is of a good standard too. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to do any of the activities on offer but it is a good excuse to come back. Two nights is sufficient and if you are travelling from abroad you may want to consider staying one night in Tel Aviv first as the night time drive to the hotel was long and very boring in the dark.

Located on the edge of acliff, with wonderful view of the desert, clear blue pool, a great place to sit back, read, swim, eat great food and sleep.
Theres a lot to see if you׳re into hiking or biking. Party people will not find it interesting. Very very recommended.

The hotel is set into the desert in , containing 4 rooms. Rooms 3 and 4 of the chalets are the upstairs rooms with a balcony and most of the rooms 1 and 2 have private pools. None of the pools have much privacy as anyone can walk past the rooms. There are no cars at the complex, but battery operated tuktuks are available 24 hours a day. The best chalets are 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31 as they overlook the crater. There is not much to do here but relax or go to the spa, which was overpriced but good.
The food was fabulous and the staff go out of their way to please you.

Room Tip: Desert jeep safaris are available, but would suggest you book these before you arrive at the hotel...

Depending on your mood, you can just as easily rate this hotel a five or a three. By Israeli and international standards the hotel and location is spectacular. The service is good by Israeli standards but average compared to international top hotels

The rooms are beautiful. The private pools are a waste of time as they are anything but private- almost everyone can see everyone else's private pool!!!

Room Tip: Don't pay extra for a private pool. It's not worth it

Spent one night after having heard many recommendations. Certainlya unique experience - the location in the middle of the desert - overlooking the huge Ramon crater. An awesome view for anyone and a must for desert lovers. Hotel and facilities were excellent. The most lavish breakfast ever encountered. Stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a private pool - great for kids.
Service was excellent, always with a smile and knowing your name. 2 swimming pools - one outside with a view rivaling the foof of Hong Kong hotels and an inside (warmer!) pool. Only thing missing was free wi-fi which should be there. From Tel Aviv - excellent double highway almost all the way - only 2 hours away.

Room Tip: Whle there are golf carts available at a call - some of the rooms/villas are quite distant from the...
