This is a good family hotel. Friendly staff, good breakfast, big rooms. Our bed was horrible. No free internet, so used an neighbour. No elevator, it is 2012!!!! It had a very nice swimmingpool. This hotel is a good startingpoint for exploring the desert.

We have been going to this hotel for over seven years - each time taking two grandchildren. The hotel does everything imaginable to make our stay perfect - even the chef was ready to prepare a special menu for two grandsons who are picky eaters. The rooms are comfortable, the home-made food exceptional and the service is great. We look forward to returning every year.

Room Tip: There is no elevator - so don't take a third floor room is you have a lot of suitcases.

No elevators, roos are old apartments. Good overnight stay to see crater and break up trip to Eilat.

Room Tip: Ask for first floor - there are no elevators.

We visited June 2nd through June 4th and were disappointed. We heard a lot about the great food and it was not at all what we expected. Maybe because it was holiday the first night and the food was only dairy, but there was not enought for everyone. The service was extremely slow and the rooms were very average. The price charged as if it was a five star hotel. Not even close.

Room Tip: I would rate this hotel as 3 stars and than the expectation will not be so high. For the money charged, I expected better all around. The pool was small, only indoor and crowded all the time. The rooms were exeptable but not for this price. There is much room for improvement, particularly in the dining room service.

The hotel has a great lobby and the restaurant serves one of the best buffets in Israel. The hotel has a great swimming pool and a small fitness center. However, there is no elevator and the rooms are outdated and need painting. Also, no hair dryer. The staff were excellent and arranged a desert trip for us. A pleasant stay. Just about the only hotel in the area.
