“masterpiece”
Reviewed January 16, 2013

I've been in Yazd 3 times and every time I visited this beautiful mosque.the combination of blue ceramics and Islamic architecture is a masterpiece.most of the time it is very silent and not crowded and you can have your own time inside halls and take many photos but it is not open for visitors at pray time.best season for visiting Yazd is Spring and Autumn.it is located in center of old city, most of the heritage buildings and historical sites of Yazd are so close and you can see all just by walking without any need to take taxi or bus.also there are so many shops and hotels around mosque.

“Amazing”
Reviewed June 20, 2012

This place is originally an ancient holly place, belonging to Sassanids period. It was a fire temple before being a mosque.
The most notable fact about this mosque is it's minarets, which are very tall (more than 52 meters) and the amazing fact is that they have beautiful tilings till the climax.
A must see in Iran !
