“not a bad course but more expensive than it should be.”

not terribly well organized, always had to guess where to go for things. service marginal, caddies try hard, course a decent layout with some fast greens which is a bit unusual for Vietnam.

“Only Golf Course in town”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2012

Poorly maintained, badly run although despite this it keeps on going as there's no where else close as an alternative. Course maintenance is always poorly planned. Try and get a cold beer on the course, how hard can it be to buy some ice and fill a polystyrene box with some cans of beer? Club house food, I almost forgot, don't eat there...

“quite pricey now..but to be expected as it enjoys a monopoly in this area”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 29, 2012

its obvious that the course is not as well-frequented as before (many golfers now making the trek to Long Thanh in protest against the increased green fees)..this does mean that one's round is less congested..I have to say that the fairways and greens are in decent nick..there is a concerted programme of work taking place on the course..if this results in significant improvements to the condition of the course, then maybe the new fees will be justified
this is a challenging course if played off the blue tees, and I do feel that the management hasn't exploited its monopolistic position as callously as it could have..the course is at its best in the late afternoon when the sea breezes come in

“Overpriced”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2012

Average course. Seriously needs some competion. Only golf course with 1 1/2 hours of Vung Tau. There seems to be work going on in every hole planned. poorly maintained

“its the only golf course in Vung Tau, but despite that, hasn't rested on its laurels”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2012

I've only been playing this course over the last couple of years, and was told that the re-turfing of the course a few years ago has resulted in the vast improvements over its previous state..the course is challenging, with a tasty risk/reward ratio on many holes..greens are decent and the caddies are diligent (some of them read the greens really impressively)..the course is at its best when the sea breezes come in, lending a true linksy feel to the course..if there is a major complaint, its that we don't get any views of the sea, despite the proximity of the course to the sea..
