I had been hearing about this place for years, but until this month, I hadn't been there. It's a surprisingly small restaurant fro its reputation. It has a really nice outdoor seating arrangement. The tables are placed further apart than most local eateries. The interior is unlit during daytime, I assume to save on electric, so it's a bit dim. However, the weather's always great here, so sit outside, order a cappuccino, order your eggs however you like and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere.

...but still at same address. This really is a high-quality cafe/restaurant behind Vung Tau's Front Beach area and away from most of the western-owned bars and restaurants. A nice outdoor setting with pleasant staff and a very friendly owner, this is a great place for breakfast (try the Eggs Benedict!), brunch, lunch or dinner - it's open from 6 am to 10 pm with very reasonable prices! Also try the chocolate and bread deli and wines from an extensive cellar. We've been regular visitors to Vung Tau for a few years now, and were delighted when a friend introduced us to Bistro Nine - it's absolutely a step-up in the world with its peaceful ambience: an ideal place to kick back and relax. You can't reallyt "watch the world go by" because it's a v.quiet street - which is also good: such tranquility only a few hundred metres beyond the much noisier Front Beach area!

The home made bread is out standing best I have had in this region all home made. The cured hams were fantastic and the home made chocolate is also very good. I tried a pizza and it was very good. The waitress are a bit weak and could use some improvement in their attitude towards how they treat customers other than that it is all good. Absolutely no disappointment in the food here. I will visit again nest time back in Vung Tau.

With several outdoor tables beneath a large tree on a quiet street, this is a very relaxing place for a good meal. Outdoor seating is recommended as inside can be a bit too hot-- air con either not on or not strong enough. Food is great tasting and good value. The specials are locally sourced and fresh meats and seafood. The burgers are at the top of Vung Tau's offering, and a great value. The home-baked breads are crusty, flavorful, and great with the burger or to sop up some pasta sauce. I am not a dessert person but they've won me over here. Profiteroles and Vodka sorbet, mmmm. If you enjoy wine, this is your place. Probably the best selection in Vung Tau. The only downside is that the English of the wait staff can be not great and their attitude a bit careless.

We were at this restaurant several times, the food is a little piece of France.
We got wonderful salads, lovely French cuisine, and probably the best cholade to be imagined as a dessert.
The place is located in a quiet environment, and the staff is friendly and understands and speaks English and French. Owner of Bistro Nine really try to provide a little bit of France. If you want to enjoy and get great food, and just relax and have a bit of France, you have to go head to Bistro Nine.

Best Regards Annette Denmark
