Unfortunately most of the area was closed due to the Coronavirus outbreak but what we were able to see and the information given to us by our guide gave us an insight into the history and what was there.

We called in here, slightly 'templed out' after a month in SE Asia, but found these temples more interesting than we'd envisaged. They benefit from a nice location, approached over a river and surrounded by mountains.

I wouldn't make a special trip here but, as part of a general visit to the Nimh Bình region, it certainly has a part to play.

Worth the visit. Beautiful temples but much like the others You see in the area. 30-45 mins and You’ve pretty much taken it all in.
If You park Your scooter it is free if You buy a water/coke or fruit.

Such peaceful temples, once the citadel of power in the 10th and 11th centuries, amid the lap of nature will only soothe you. Although there are plenty of guides who might seem disturb you but without them we would not have known the history.

My guide was helpful by explaining the history of the two dynasties and their historic significance. Lots of vendors, but they are avoidable. Water buffalo wandered about the area. Nice experience.
