Not much to see in this place. They don't preserve the history monument, and take care of the scenery well. It's old, dirty, and not really a ancient village!
They can not keep this place clean even they ask us to buy a ticket!

Booked for an initial two nights stay upon arrival from Ninh Binh train station.
Really like how the heritage house was conserved and renovated with comfortable bedrooms and attached bathroom.
Very basic simple breakfast provided and served in a outdoor pergola constructed within a water lily pond.
Lang Viet Co ancient house is located within 10 minutes walking distance to Tam Coc boat pier and many eateries along the main road.

We made booking this hotel via booking.com and came here late. It's near Tam Coc- Bich Dong and far away from main street. We called the telephone number as booking.com provided and the old lady welcome us, give us a paper to sign, collect ID cards and ask us about breakfast tomorrow. 4 of us should choosing the same dishes for breakfast. After check-in, we got our room and nobody around us. If we need any assistance, we only can call this lady.
At check-out, they ask for 3% if we paid by credit card.

it's not really a resort, but a fun experience. Your room is in an ancient house.
The beds are rock hard, but strangely comfortable and mind your head, since the doors are low and we tended to forget that :-)
The staff is nice. Communicating with google translate works fine.
The laundry service is good, car service looked expensive so we just hailed taxis.
They're renovating at the moment, so it looks like it will be really nice and more touristy soon.

An old traditional village set at the foot of the hill. The atmosphere is very calm and peaceful. The rooms are clean, with not so many comforts (the shower is quite uncomfortable, because there's no cabin so when you make a shower the bathroom gets wet!) but there is the air conditioner. There's wi-fi only in the central part of the village. The negative point is that there's no staff: there's only one woman but is not easy to find her, expecially for the check-in...you walk alone in the village and you start doubting...but go on and sooner or later you will find her. Anyway the atmoshere is magical so i can recommend this hotel for people that are able to adapt theirself.
