The location of the hotel is great, not even a walking minute away from the river, lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Rooms are spacious, some have 2 bedrooms, some one bedroom and a living room. Bathroom is a little small. Cups for tea/coffee were a little dirty. Good coffee in the room, but no milk or creamer!

Breakfast is great, served on the roof terrace. They don't have a buffet, but a menu with a huge variety of western and Vietnamese food and you can order whatever you want. Taste and quality are excellent.

Mid february we stayed 1 night in Nam Bo-hotel in Can Tho.
The hotel is situated on a corner of the river-boulevard and did not look very appealing from outside.
However, once inside you get a fantastic wellcome and the frontdesk-lady took us with the elevator to our room ( nr 6 or 7, I'm not sure ). To our great satisfaction, the room was HUGE: bedroom, livingroom, kitchenette and bathroom ; all furnished with dark wood and a wooden floor.
AC worked well without much noise ; internet was fast and free, safe is also provided.
The hotel is close to the night-market, the river-promenade and dozens of small shops.
In the evening we got a free wellcome cocktail on the rooftop restaurant-bar. We were early and could choose a nice table ; later many guest from inside and outside came in , the restaurant must have a good reputation ! And indeed, everything we ordered was tastefull and beautifully presented. Staff told us that their Chef had worked in many big hotels in Vietnam and abroad.
Also the winelist was well composed and for Vietnam reasonably priced.
We enjoyed dining in the open air with view on the Mekong river and a riverbreeze cooling the heat of the afternoon.
Next morning we had breakfast on the same rooftop ; there was a very small buffet but you got a menu wherefrom you could order anything you wished without paying extra's : even expresso's and capucino's. The omelet and scrambled eggs were delicious.
We really found a gem in this not so exciting town which is just a departure-point to mosly visit the floating markets of the Mekong-delta.

Stayed at the Nam Bo 3 nights earlier this month. My room was huge, beautifully furnished and clean. The hotel picked up my laundry and helped me with the room safe within minutes of arrival. The hotel is located conveniently right on the river and near local markets, restaurants and the riverside park. The breakfast, included in the price of my room was huge, delicious and from the rooftop restaurant offered a breathtaking view of the area. The staff helped with changing my money, calling taxis, taking calls from my tour company, etc, etc. Highly recommended.

This is a wonderful little gem in the Mekong delta
Very small-just 2 floors belong to the hotel, the rest are part of the restaurants
The 4th floor restaurant provides a delicious and elegant breakfast, kind of paper buffet; everything is available for order at no extra cost.
The first and second level Vietnamese restaurant has some interesting choices, among them snake curry (very good) and snake spring rolls (nothing special).
rooms are clean large and elegant, good AC; the bed a bit on the hard side as many places in Vietnam, but this is the only negative point in my oppinion.
the view from the upper floor is amazing across the Mekong. Location is also perfect, near the boats for the floating market and on the main commercial street for tourists
I was no disturbed by noises as previous reviewers complained

In Can Tho there is limited choice in hotels, among them Nam Bo is superior in location and service.
The entrance is not very special but the cornersuite was spacy and comfortable with a nice view of the river and the very busy street. There were some details that were regrettable. The light in the sittingroom was not very inviting and the bedroom was adjacent the hallway and the elevator witch made it very noisy untill late. Luckily everyone in this hotel went to bed early., so after eleven we experienced no more noise.
The rooftop restaurant was a nice extra, service and food was good, real orange juice with your breakfast and very fresh croissants.
The morningtrip to the markets was surprisingly nice and took 4 hours, although in a small sampan.

This is a place I would glady return to, although I did find it a bit expensive. Our room, or should I say suite, was beautiful. We never stay out late, so we appreciated the space. All three rooms were great; the living room, the bedroom and the bathroom. Many beautiful details! Couldn't have asked for more... But best of all: the roof top restaurant (overlooking the river). It was great for breakfast, and equally great for dinner. Food was very nice. Service impeccable. But we were also disturbed by (like another reviewer) the in-house noise from the - what we believed to be the lift that takes food from the kitchen to the restaurants. And I feel I should mention: I lost a contact lens and went about searching the floor very thoroughly - and well: The floor could do with a scrub.... and the furniture some serious dusting. Apart from that, we're very satisfied and would honestly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: I only saw one.... if possible, ask to see more than one.

Beautiful suite -- Apartment 5 looks out at Mekong River and we get to watch entertainment on street from front windows while sleep quietly at back away from noise! Service impressive.
Great bar on roof and excellent food...two of us ate for $26 USA! I absolutely would recommend this hotel!
