Easy walk to the riverfront, very accommodating staff, great breakfast area and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed one day beyond our reserved days and, for that extra night, we were given the Penthouse room. Where in the world can you get a lovely top floor room with an "outdoor" bathroom, jacuzzi tub, beautiful garden with a fish pond and fabulous views of the city, for about $70 US. We loved it!

Room Tip: Ask for top floor room

All in all, this hotel is fine (nothing special) for the price. But they have a roach problem, and that is just something I can not forgive. Upon arrival in our room, after getting situated with our bags, I noticed a large can of bug spray by the tv and made a joke about it to my husband, like "hope they left that there by mistake!" Nope. As we soon learned, there's a can of that stuff in every room for a reason.

WIthin 2 minutes of being in the room, a 3 inch roach JUMPED up on the pillow of one of the beds in the room. I screamed, the roach barely moved, we killed it with the provided bugspray and proceeded to get our room moved across the hall to the VIP room, which was exactly the same as our first room but smaller, with a smaller balcony and with a slightly better bathroom. The management (very nicely) apologized and assured us this was not normal and that the bug spray in the rooms was there for mosquitos. Hmmmn. We decided we wanted to believe this, but we still slept with the lights on and not very well, waking up looking for roaches every hour or so.

The next day, I opened the door to exit our room and another 3 inch roach was just sort of staring at the door, as if he had knocked and was waiting for me to ask "who is it?"! Once again, I killed it, but this time we didn't bother complaining, since there seemed to be no point, and we just sort of moved it away from our door and left it there for the hotel to clean up. The next day, we noticed they had cleaned the 2 other rooms on the floor (the doors were open), but the dead roach was still there. We saw the same kinds of roaches on the street in Can Tho, so I don't think this is really a cleanliness problem on the part of the hotel, but it is 100% a pest control problem on their part that they need to get on ASAP. It's not like we were even on a low floor, we were pretty high up...

If not for the roaches, I would have given the hotel a 3. I'm not sure what everyone is raving about, though - it's got *some* of the amenities you expect from a 3 star in Vietnam (A/C, minifridge, wifi, tv), but they charge you for breakfast, which was a first in our experience in SE Asia at this pricepoint. We stayed in a VIP Room and it was not all that and a bag of chips. Just a standard room with a slightly better bathroom than the non VIP Rooms, as I said. And it's impossible to sleep well when you're paranoid about giant black roaches.

I will stay, though, that the staff is very nice and friendly. I hope they fix this problem and start including breakfast in the room fee.

We paid 35$ per night for the superior room (301), which worst the price. The room had a big bathroom with bathtub and all the other amenities that should be include in a superior room. The room itself was spacious with beautiful bamboo and wood furniture. We had very good sleep.
The only bad thing that we notice is that the staff speak very basic English and that the pillows were very big (which seems to be the reference in VN).
Also, we reserve a tour on the Mekong for one day from 6am to 1pm with guide via a old woman at the reception. We visited 2 floating markets, a rice paddy and a garden with the fruits of the delta. The price was 1 000 000d (45$A) for 2 people.

Room Tip: Ask to see the rooms ! Some are very small

We stayed one night in a deluxe room which, at $33/night, was excellent value - spacious, clean, well appointed and comfortable. The roof-top restaurant gives great views across Can Tho and is a lovely spot to start the day. The staff were helpful and overall we felt it well worth the price.

after reading trip advisor reviews we booked a vip room for one night. Our room was on the 8th floor with a private roof garden and outdoor bathroom with jacuzzi. Very very special!! Great view on Can Tho. The two other vip rooms are located on the 7th floor, no idea if they also have a roof garden but did not look as if.

Room quite nice but not outstanding. Big bug spray can in the room was slightly irritating, but no bugs around. 2 gold fish in the garden pond were floating dead. outdoor toilet is only slightly shielded from looks from inside the room. The water pressure is very low so if you want to fill the outdoor jacuzzi start opening the tap a couple of hours before.

Breakfast on the terrace on the 8th floor was nice and scenic. Staff is very friendly but almost unable to communicate in english. wireless internet was a little bit shaky.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. After having been in a homestay, it was like heaven. The room is not big, but has plenty of storage space. The bathroom is a nice size, with a glass shower door versus curtain. Plenty of hot water. Both the room and bathroom were spotless, and the aircon worked well. No noise at night, so good sleeping too. The breakfast was good by Vietnam standards, and the rooftop restaurant is light & airy, giving good views of the city. Location is fine, about 5 min from the waterfront. The girls at the front desk speak ok English, also a plus. Added bonus, free wifi. For what we paid, it was just fine, I would come back.

we had a room on the 7th floor, VIP rooms, with a nice jacuzzi in the bathroom to relax and a cute little terrace, the room was spacious and the bed was very confortable. However they would need to improve their soundproof window cause it can get very noisy early in the morning due to traffic in Vietnam. Breakfast was quite nice on the top floor ! I would definitely recommend this nice little Hotel.
