Komil's hotel in Bukhara is an excellent, not only due to its location and the quality of the rooms, but also to the friendliness and competence of the staff and the reasonable price. I can recommend it without any hesitation.

Komil is friendly, professional and speaks good English. Really helpful, too for arranging transport, checking flights etc.
The hotel is lovely, relaxing and the rooms are very comfortable. Charming! The food is excellent. We had dinner there, too. Its 10 dollars, but worth every penny. The best meals we had in Uzbekistan by far!.
Thoroughly recommend it. Lively, friendly welcoming staff!

The hotel is on the verge of the old town, from outside it is not very promising, there is no lit sign showing the name. It is a former family house of a rich family, it preserves the fascinating atmosphere of the past. The staff is nice and friendly, very young and speaks good English. The only negative aspect was the recommended masseus who was absolutely not a professional.

If you stay in Bukhara, don't go for the big luxurious (it any) hotel, but go for this small boutique hotel. It's not luxurious but overly charming with two courtyards and a beautiful old breakfast room. The beds are the first soft ones we encoutered on our trip in Uzh. The menu card is limited but the outcome is good and all dishes can be made vegetarian. Komil is very nice and helpful, so is the other staff, most speak quite good English. We have not seen Amelia which is supposed to be the nr. 1 in town, but this is our number 1.

Room Tip: Choose a room around the first courtyard near the reception

minimizing renovations on an old house in a historic neighborhood has its drawbacks. personally, I feel the lobby could use more renovation. the dining room was maintained, looking like a set right out of Sleepy Hollow. one of the rooms shown to me had a horrible odor. mattresses were on the softer side. staff was really friend and helpful. if one is not fussed about living in a heritage building, there seems to be a lot contemporary choices located closer to the three markets/takis.

Tucked away in the old town of Bukhara, in easy walking distance to all the attractions, this quirky little B&B is quite charming. (Our bathroom featured a set of three stairs leading into a small sitting room, for instance...) The dining room is lovely and the breakfast quite good (crepes and camel-thorn honey were highlights for me). The owners are also very friendly and open and fun to talk to. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Bukhara.

The old mansion B&B keeps its original design since hundred years ago. The staff are extremely friendly which shows us around after checking in. The dining hall is just AMAZING!!! We had never expected we can stay in a place which has such a historical atmosphere. Rooms are good in Uzbek standard with satellite TV and free wifi. What a great experience!
