Definitely the best place we ate at in Bukhara. The Labi Huvuz restaurant had such a lovely atmosphere and great service. We had meat dishes one day and the next had a margarita pizza which was sooo good. Loved the music and the outdoor seating. Highly recommend!

My hotel was only 20m from this restaurant. So had no choice. Was seated on the inside. Very prompt service. Food was delicious. Had the Chicken Tabaka with fries.
Such a lovely location. Good portions and very reasonably priced.
It was cold but there was seating outside overly the pool.

A great place to while away an afternoon or early evening! Lots if options; food, beer, coffee. Right in between 2 Medrassa!

I was in Bukhara in mid-October when the weather was starting to change from hot summer to cold winter. I had a Sunny, warm 70F day. I loved finding one of the many benches surrounding the water and just peacefully sitting and watching the world go by. Particularly fun was around 10am Saturday when several couples were all dressed up for their pre-wedding pictures. Presumably they were wearing their wedding clothes, in the attached picture. For some reason she was not happy with him, so he chose to walk to the next picture site without her.

A rectangular pool and some ancient mulberry trees surrounded by restaurants and seating. It is picturesque and welcome on a hot day.

Nice complex, with a water pool and fountain, local vendors and restaurants. We especially liked roaming there during the evening, with the tourists and locals enjoying their meals and live (but gentle) Uzbek music. Don't miss the statue of the donkey and Nassradin from the well known local fable :)

Only issue was waiting for written bill at end of meal. Ate twice, good service from friendly waiters. Consistent good quality food even when I ordered quails. Music at night violinist then a singer, not my things but at a volume not iratating to those who were uninterested. Great surrounding with fountains allowing you privacy to chat privately from neighbouring tables.

This is where local people, families hang out. Nice to stop for a drink and people-watch. I chose not to eat there, but it depends on how much you enjoy the local food.

Could have spent the night here, such a beautiful wee spot.

I can aonly discribe this as a must do in Bukhara - week ends are best.

The square has a pond in its centre with open-air restaurant alongside the pond. It is facing one of the main madrassahs and has a large pedestrian area running past it
