“Bicycles to Wat Si Chum”
Review of Wat Si Chum

Reviewed December 26, 2012

Great addition t the main Historical Park, a little off the beaten path. Only about 10 minutes by bicycle. Definitely worth the visit. Did not like the fact you have to pay a seperate entrance fee after paying fo the main park entrance.

Thank Roger R

This temple holds a very large seated Buddha - 15m high, enclosed in the temple. It is very impressive. Possibly, my favorite.

The large seated Buddha at Wat Sri Chum is well photographed and rightly so. When I came here 28 years ago you could climb up inside the walls and see the Buddha at 'eye' level, this seems to no longer be an option, but still worth a visit. Morning light is best here and the 100thb admission lets you visit a few other temples in the northern group

The giant buddha is astonishing! an absolute sight of beauty and magnificence. You can take the bike you rented to get there as its only about 2klms from the historic park. Its 100 baht to get in which is a little steep but it is a wonderful sight to see.

The giant buddha inside wat sri chum is an impressive sight. There is a 100thb fee to enter which is a bit steep but i think this goes towards preservation of the temple.
