I didn't expect to find such a lovely resort in this province of Thailand. Phitsanurok is usually on a passing route to the northern part of Thailand. Many stop over night before travel to the northern provinces.

This is a lovely hotel. The room is charming, with a Thai decorative style. The bed and amenities are comfortable. The room is clean and new, with sufficient facilities and welcome Thai fruits. The room has a high ceiling with a hanging fan, making it more comfortable. The bathroom is modern and commodious, with a glass wall connecting with the bedroom.

The resort has a nice landscape, especially the large pond with colorful lotus, in the middle of the area. The garden areas are also well preserved with the natural environment. The breakfast is fine, with nothing special.

The hotel location is quite distant from the city. You may have to have a car or other commuting means to go around the places in Phitsanulok.

Room Tip: Get a higher floor with a better view...

We stopped on the way and back to/from Norther Thailand and Pattara is by far best choice to stay in Phitsanulok. Great landscape with nice swimming pool and lotus flower ponds or lake. Look out for the funny stork (??? bird) which seems to be long term resident in the hotel lake. First time we stayed at 2nd floor and rather preferred 2nd stay at ground level. A/C is installed on the roof and might be a bit noisy during night time. Staff isn't well trained in dealing with foreigners but there're really sweet and friendly to make your stay pleasant. Food at Ton Tan Restaurant is a bit boring in taste so we really recommend to enjoy nearby restaurant, exit hotel to the left and walk for couple of hundred meters where you find some local and tasty choices. Nothing fancy but delicious and spicy food. Would be great if the staff cares about the rooms as much as about the beautiful garden. At our 2nd stay our bed sheet was more than holey and in our mini bar we had some already expired drinks. But never the less we had a great time and would definitely stop over again. In case you plan to visit old ruins of Sukhothai be aware to drive approx 1 hours.

Room Tip: staying at 2nd floor you might face some noise form A/C installation, we definitely enjoyed our seco...

We really enjoyed our stay at Pattara Resort and Spa. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. The swimming pool and ponds around are really gorgeous, fantastic for relaxing. There were a number of things that bothered us: it is quite far from the city centre of Phitsanulok, and difficult to get around if you do not have your own transport. At a certain moment we waited 55 minutes for a taxi to show up (while the drive to the city centre takes only 5 to 10 minutes!). Because of this, you are more or less obliged to eat in their restaurant, food is excellent, but a bit pricey! Staff is friendly, but inefficient; their English is not good enough, which lead to a number of misunderstandings (and this caused some frustrations, unfortunately).

we spent only one night in this hotel while touring to the North of Thailand, but there's nothing wrong I can say about it. First the location itself is great with magnificent landscape and nature, then the rooms are very good and comfortable, the staff is very kind and friendly.
Our dinner was inclusive with the booking, so we couldn't chose a la carte, but it was simply perfect and so tasty, with several different courses just incredibly good.

I strongly recommend this hotel

A fantastic find and a true oasis in all senses. Outstanding service - I note others have said the staff could speak better English, I would point out that their command of the language is infinitely superior to my command of the thai language !!
It, at first appears 'expensive' but trust me, it is all well worth the price.

It is so good that I will find a way to return !!

Room Tip: I experienced a twin room, although all the others that I saw were of excellent standards and very s...

We booked 2 Superior rooms for 2 nights through booking.com. Price was about 2600,- baht per room and night with breakfast. Perfect value for money.

We (family of 4) arrived there with our own car. Free and safe parking available within the hotel compounds. Easy and fast check in. Very friendly and helpful staff from the recptionist to the bellboy to the gardener.

Rooms a very beautiful, brandnew and luxurious. Absolutely 5 star. Tastefully decorated in a modern Thai Style. Great bathrooms, very big and comfortable beds. Free wifi in the rooms. Good internet connection compared to Thai Standards.

Beautiful swimming Pool. Well maintained garden areas. Everything perfect.

Good Breakfast in buffet style, considering that this is not a very big hotel. Also here you can feel that the Management tries everything to make the hotel guests feel good. There is one Thai Lady (Supervisor ?, sorry cannot remind her name) at the Thai Restaurant with perfect english skills. She is extremly friendly and professionell. A gem which I would hire straight away if I would be in need of hotel staff.

This Resort is perfect for any kind of traveller. But we felt that they were also extremly child friendly. Best I ever experienced.

If you would place this resort on Phuket or Samui or in Pattaya it would cost about 2 times more and would be full all the times.

Needless to say that I will stay there again if I´m in that part of Thailand again...

Room Tip: If I would go there as a romantic couple I would book the big Pool Villa. Breathtaking.
