“Great stay, beautiful location”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

Just returned from several nights in Reverie Siam Resort. Spilt the stay with a trek into the jungle (if you want a trek go with Mr Chart in Pai!) so coming back to the hotel was bliss! Great location and luxury rooms. Staff very helpful - especially the tuk tuk ride into the town (can be walked, would take about 20 mins). Food great but if you are staying for 5 nights or so then the menu would be limited. Only downside (for us) is that its no smoking on the balcony which is a little strange - still, its a (very) minor point! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want luxury at a fantastic price.

Room Tip: any of them!

This is the best place to stay in Pai! We went for my boyfriend's birthday and was an amazing experience. We stayed at the villa and we had a nice private garden and a huge and lovely jacuzzi with an incredible view. The decoration, from the rooms to the restaurant, is tastefull and unique - a fantastic collection of antiques and you can tell that every piece was thought out.
There's a lovely pool with salt water (no cloro) and a beautiful garden where you can see the river. It's a luxury with confort and really good taste! How great it was to have a drink by the pool listening to jazz music with a great view of the mountains!
The staff was amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay fantastic. The dinner was delicious. We really recommend the cheese and meat board and risotto balls with the house wine The staff managed to served a birthday cake that was delicious too.
The breakfast was awesome! Eggs benedict and a well served machiatto!
The hotel was great value for money, prices was good for the quality (example: the chef's board with cheese, meat, vegetables, nuts, breads is 395 baht, cocktails for 150 baht).
After months travelling around Asia, this place was a delight! You should go!

Room Tip: the vila is very big and has a huge jacuzzi, is the best room there!

Stay for two days, location is a little bit far from walking street but we rent a motor just need few minutes, not a big problem, and the hotel will transfer you to walking street any time, really nice !
Staffs are super friendly and helpful, nice smile that make me feel so good! We booked the villa room, what a nice Jacuzzi and nice private garden, stay there for reading is a great pleasure in life!the room is old style, but everything was very well maintained, I like the style.
The restaurant is really great, fresh and delicious food, and reasonable price, the breakfast is including but not just a cheap food, many choice that make me have a nice start every day.
The environment is very quiet and nice view, the only one thing that the guess will need to notice about is : Every day you may be awakened by the sound of birds ^^

Room Tip: villa is the best room type!

Reverie Siam is my perfect Holiday destination. The setting on the river, with the mountains as a backdrop is just glorious. The rooms are beautifully decorated with lovely personal touches, yet have all the comfort and mod cons any 5 star hotel. We stayed in a delux villa and it was truly a bargain for the quality and location of the room.

Everything about our stay went smoothly. The emails at booking were all prompt and efficient, our taxi pick up was seamless and the greeting courteous and welcoming. We loved relaxing by the pool and enjoying the comfy loungers. Chairs were even brought to our garden area when we asked.

The food and drink is also amazing and is a wonderful addition to this boutique hotel. I am really missing the meat and cheese boards and drank some great wines with wonderful company. A lot of care and attention has gone into the planning of this place and this is even evident with the delicious and varied breakfast menu.

We have travelled many times to Pai and having found Reverie Siam, we will certainly be back again soon. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel, it really is perfect.

Room Tip: Villa 13 is at the end is is quiet and private. (Although all the rooms were lovely)

Having read the previous reviews, which guided us to pick the Reverie Siam, we have been blown away. There is nothing like this place anywhere! Not only completed to a very high standard, this place was filled with luxury touches and personal attention to detail reflecting the classy marriage of 1920's English and traditional Thai decor which offered a laid back, peaceful atmosphere.

We were escorted with our bags through a romantic path with lovely scented scrubs and soft lightening to Villa No 9. From there on in we relaxed and luxuriated, it was spotless, the mattress was awesome, the decor amazing with a material draped ceiling. My partner surprised me with room service (a bottle of champagne) dipping into our personal deep Jacuzzi in our bathroom (beside us was a huge glass window, presenting us with our own private garden, mature trees and a backdrop of forests and mountains scene with a huge white Budda - unbelievable!). Villa No. 9 was bigger and more luxurious than my one bedroom flat in London (shame to admit).

From morning one, we open our curtains and never closed them - 5 days of complete, blissful privacy.
The breakfast menu includes two mains and two drinks, more than enough food to last us until dinner.
Breakfast to die for: Eggs Benedict on muffins with a thick piece of yummy ham, fresh fruit-mango-dragon fruit-pawpaw-crispy apple, cappuccino and passion fruit juice.

My partner's favourite was the Monti full English, a honey-cinnamon and coconut pancake, mulberry juice and latti all this whilst listening to Nina Simmon, old English jazz and the soft sound of water.
The evening Tapas meals were just as delicious with the same attentive service, loved the cocktails!

We often had the salted swimming pool to ourselves, with the white Budda in our view.
Oh for a romantic get away this was simply the best, better than all the rest.
Definitely hope to return in another two years.
Thank you Reverie Siam.

This resort left me speechless. It is well worth the 767 curves travelled around to get there!

Every single detail in this resort has been well thought out and executed with care and attention.

The rooms are beautifully presented with comfy beds, large bathrooms and quiet air conditioning. The restaurant serves excellent food and wine especially their gourmet breakfasts and amazing cheese platters. The staff are very polite and only want to make your stay the more comfortable. The pool and surroundings are breathtaking.

My wife and I were travelling on our honeymoon and we were unexpectedly upgraded to a villa overlooking the river which had the most amazing spa!

Every day we were chauffeured to and from Pai in the resort tuk tuk and if this wasn't available in the air conditioned ute. The drivers didn't even expect a tip.

Overall the experience was magical; we can't wait to return!

He stayed four nights at Reverie Siam, a recently opened boutique resort 1km away from Pai village, after reading the raving reviews on TripAdvisor.

The place turned out to be even better than we expected.

Amazing large rooms furnished with antiques from the 20's, great views from all rooms, beautiful gardens, nice swimming pool, open air restaurant, excellent b'fast, friendly staff and very caring British owner on-site when we stayed there. Nothing negative

A great discount rate made the deal even better. Clearly a 4 star resort for a very reasonable price, even based on Thai standards.

Book your stay there before it gets too popular and fully booked weeks in advance as this is for sure the best place to stay in Pai.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
“Reverie Siam is a concept Resort inspired by the cultural fusion that occurred in the early part of the 20th century. Circa 1925, The Great War has been over for nearly a decade. Prohibition in the States has given birth to Speakeasies with musicians such as Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong providing the soundtrack. New advances in transportation allow those hungry for adventure and wealth to try their luck in new Lands, in our case Southeast Asian Lands. For those fortunate enough to be successful an easy decadent existence follows. The fashions and trends they import with them merge into the local cultures and an intoxicating blend ensues. We celebrate this blend, choosing to remember as if by the dreams of those who might have participated long ago, in those heady days of romance, adventure and elegance. ” ... more   less
