This place would certainly be in for a chance of getting one!
Still pinching ourselves as we can't believe such a culinary heaven exists in Pai. Hats off to the head chef, the guy's a genius! Would definitely recommend the tartare, sticky pork ribs and lavender soufflé. Great selection of wine too - we went for a Tempranillo, which cost just under 900 baht - ridiculous value considering the hefty import tax the restaurants have to work around for non-Thai wines.
Whilst it is very much a high-end culinary experience the atmosphere is very relaxed and cleverly avoids that feeling of being overly pretentious. Every table and chair is different in style and a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into the design/layout. Forget the perfectly ironed table clothes and overly attentive service, this place is about you, your food and a glass of wine! The live band was great too - especially when the bongo player decided to bust out some freestyle!!
Thank you for an amazing experience!
