Do not miss this resort if you are going to Pai. The design of the Villas is amazing, they are totally private and when you are inside, the walls are just windows of beautiful flowers. Lovely bedding, tasteful color combinations of white linen and curtains and wood. Beautiful bathroom, private exterior party bath, your own private river zen chairs. Sweet staff, nice breakfast. Wow! We'll certainly be back!

Room tip: All the rooms are villas,in their own closed garden, surrounded by a high wall of bamboo, we rented two villas at the back, and they were quiet and perfect!

Beautiful designed Resort in African Style (odd in Thailand, but nice). 5 Star experience.
Great, friendly and professional staff with very good english skills.

We booked the Family Villa for 3 nights and arrived at the Resort with our own car. Free and safe parking directly at the resort.

Very warm welcome and fast check in.

Villas are very nice and perfect for honeymooners or couples. Total privacy at your villa ground.

Great beds and bathrooms. Free Wifi in room. Slow but working (most of the times).

A little bit strange is that you cannot close the doors when you are leaving. There are no locks !?, neither at the Villa Entrance nor at the room entrance. However, the whole Resort seems well guarded and we had no problem at all.

Breakfast is a set menu. Considering that this is a small resort it is acceptable. However the Service is great. An older Thai Gentlemen takes extra care and gives you a very good feeling. You`ve been looked after.

As we stayed there with 3 adults and 1 child we booked the Family Villa. I wouldn`t do that again. Instead I would book 2 "normal" Villas next to eachother. Reason is that the Family Villa has got 2 Levels and the ground level is a kind of a cellar. Smells a bit and the toilet and washing area are outside (!?) in the garden. Very strange and not comfortable.

The Resort is a little out of town but we saw that they have their own Tuk Tuk`s. Seems to be a great service.

All in all the Resort offers perfect Value for money and I would recommend it for couples.

Would I stay there again ? Only if I could not get a room at the "Hotel des Artists." After strolling in downtown Pai on our first evening we saw this really beautiful hotel in the heart of Pai. Perfect location and really nice design. The better option for families (can walk directly out of the hotel into life) and for single travellers, groups or friends.

But for couples (still in Love ,-)) and honeymooners I would recommend Pai Island due to it`s very romatic set up.

Room tip: Dont book the Family Villa. Better take 2 other Villas next to each other.

My husband and I recently stayed at Pai Island for 3 nights-a last min switch from our original booking in Pai...and boy were we glad we switched! This place is wonderful! There are only 10 villas and sometimes you feel as though you are the only people staying here! If you are looking for clean, beautiful and very private space then this is a great place. Our honeymoon island suite was fantastic! We had an awesome outdoor shower and tub. You def feel as though you are living in nature but in a beautiful and clean room. Staff was also great. Very helpful and friendly!
It is a short walk to town but there is a free shuttle from hotel which was nice at night. Also-super easy and cheap to rent your own motor bike or bicycle-and provided us with more independence! Pai is a fantastic place and Pai Island was a wonderful base for our trip here.

Room tip: Honeymoon island villa was great!

We stayed at Pai Island Resort for three nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were always willing to help. The rooms are big and beautifully decorated. The resort is set next to a river and you feel as if you are in the jungle. The tuk-tuk service to town was a great help and we never had problems getting to town and back.

The breakfast was fine and more than enough for us. We also had supper at the restaurant and the Khao Soi Pork I had was one of the best meals that I had in my three weeks of travel through Thailand. The 89 Baht Mojitos were a bargain and that is also the room service price.

There was only two problems with the resort (I know it is petty):

1. The grass at our villa was uncut and it gave the place a rather unkempt look.

2. They need a pool at the resort. Although the private bath is adequate I would have preferred a pool to laze at in the afternoon.

I can highly recommend the resort to anybody planning to go to Pai.
