We stayed here for 3 nights and had a really fantastic stay. If you like a small personal run place with basic but nice cottages this is the place you want to be. Food is seriously good. Staff is friendly! I would recommend it to everyone!

The rooms have a fantastic few over the paddy fields.
We traveld with 2 young children and they loved the pool and the rooms and bathroom were super!
We did a elephant ride and play in the river nearby , something we will never forget

We were lucky that we found it because when we arrived we didn't have a plan where to stay. As we decided that we want a guest-house with pool on coincidence we found the Pai Chan Cottage. First of all we were so surprised about the price that there was no question about still looking at some other accommodations. So we stayed and it was perfect.
For the first 2 nights my boyfriend and another couple could stay in the family bungalow for 800baht in total. And it was really great. The bungalow has a very great bathroom for the two rooms attached and also the rooms are very great. So if you are traveling in a group of four I would totally ask for the family bungalow.
For the two other nights we had to move to two double bed bungalows. For those we payed 500 baht per bungalow which was also a very good price, we thought.
They are also very great but in B4 it stank a little bit. Otherwise they were great again with a very great view directly from your bed.
The owner could seem a little bit rude because she doesn't always ask if you are ok and if everything is great. But for us this was really ok, because sometimes when people always ask so much it can get really annoying sometime. So everything was great and I almost forgot to mention the great and special food. Cream Cheese bagels, Mozzarella sandwich with potato wedges, yummy. They really offer great food.
We would totally go there again and relax at the great pool and outdoor shelter...
We stayed for 4 nights at this place and had a terrible time. The room and garden is not well maintained. Toilet smell badly, and the smell came into the sleeping section. When we complained, nothing much was done to improve the situation. We cannot change to another room we requested for, though it was available. Unfortunately, we paid in advance, no refund can be given. The place was filled with smokers, day and night. Owner has pets, cats and dog walking around in the dining area. So, this is strongly not recommended if you want peace and fresh air. Dinning / reception area was always full with owner's friends smoking & drinking, no nice seating except the small living area in the garden filled with smoke. The room is not cleaned daily, not until we asked for it on the 3rd day. Is this the standard you are looking for? Not to mention that breakfast is only available after 8:30am, so if you have early trip plan, no breakfast!
In my opinion, this is not a professionally run resort, no good service minded. It seemed like you stayed at someone else's house for free. You cannot expect nor request much.
This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. It's 12 cottages sitting in the middle of rice fields that you can look at from your bed. BUT, the manager seemed to be very rude and not helpful. And it put a bit of a damper on our time there. I thought that it was just us but, after reading all these reviews I now know it isn't uncommon.
