Nice rooms with friendly staff and 24 hour food. Had to do a visa run and checked in for a good nights sleep before an early start. Had coffee and breakfast at 4.30 am no problem. Staff were friendly on each occasion I dealt with them and even turned on the computer (in room) and logged in for me. Will stay there again.

We went to Non Khai and stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The room was right next to the Swimming Pool and had flat screen TV, Computer connected to broadband internet, a well stocked fridge and was very clean.
OK is was not the Ritz but for the small room rate we were more than satisfied.
We highly recommend this establishment.

Pantawee is not really an hotel, is not as well a guest house, is all in one, different kind of room are available, comfort is standard, but nothing really special, prices are correct, but no more. Positive thing in this hotel, an ample car park for car, the problem vehicle moving all the time and sometimes it could be difficult to sleep, if your window is "car park view". The second good point the hotel is very close to the Mekong river, but far away from city centre , few hundreds yard under "Friendship bridge" who's connect Thailand and Laos. At the time we stayed there, we never have opportunity to take breakfast, restaurant was not open, WI-fi was weak, but was working slowly, I didn't remember met a very terrific staff, they all been minimum polite and didn't advice nothing we could need. I believe better hotel are availble in Nong Khai, with better amenities and location.

Room Tip: Avoid window over the car park

The hotel is in a good position, not far from the river, but this will apply to most hotels as Nong Khai is not that big.
There is a complicated array of buildings making up the hotel and I had a fairly basic one but it was ok for a night or 2.
The rooms are curious for what they have and haven't got. The bathroom was about as basic as you can get but every main room has its own computer and DVD player. The room isn't big but still has 2 desks, kettle etc and an arm chair so really quite comfortable.
The swimming pool is not big for adults but ok for children to play in.
The American breakfast was fine with everything brought to you.
There is free wifi all over which works ok.
All in all I would stay there again.

Frankly, this place offers a lot of conveniences. Stay here for 2 nights from 10.01.2013 with a group of 14 in their Type C room, double bed with a PC in the room.
The room is clean, close to the river, market and restaraunts, what more to ask for?
Exit the hotel, turn left for a minute, turn left again and a whole street of hawkers fare and restaraunts at night.
Exit and turning right will bring you to the river, market and food court within 5 mins.
The hotel restaraunt also serve some good food at reasonable price, eaten there during lunch on arrival.
Great room price for couple of nights. Highly reccomended.
