This place is a dump!!
When booking, we checked several different sites and they all said the location was close to the centre, which it isn't. It is at least 4km away from where it said it was.
The rooms stink and are in terrible condition. The aircon is loud and doesn't work properly. The whole hotel is dark, dingy and smells of mold.
Nothing in this hotel has been updated since what looks like the 80s.
The staff were unhelpful and even tried to rip us off with expensive taxis!
Avoid like the plague!!!

We have stayed here a number of times and the hotel is OK. The aircon was noisy, and the bathroom windows really dirty on the outside. But the rooms were clean otherwise, and the breakfast good, and very voluminous by today's standards.
It is a pity that with so many monket statues outside that this theme was not, in any way, carried through to the hotel itself. The corridors were bare and 'army like'. The rooms had little decoration, so there was absolutely zero atmosphere.
But it was functional and OK as somewhere to stay in a small town.

Upon arrival, my wife felt very sick. Within one minute, Nan, the manager, had us in her car and to the hospital in less than 10 minutes. Turns out my wifes appendix had burst and she had to have emergency surgery. Nan help me through the whole process translating for me, getting me back and forth to the hospital, visiting my wife etc. The hotel is in a small town and is not new, but sometimes there is more to a hotel than its location and age. For this above and beyond service to a total stranger and foreigner Nan gets a 5 from me

Room tip: We got the deluxe as it was not much more expensive and it was worth it.
