I purchased so many ceramics my bags were overweight at the airport! I love the unique items I purchased.
The staff go to a lot of trouble to wrap and pack everything carefully to ensure the items are protected. You cannot go past the rice cracker muesli bars sold at the counter.

The factory shop is well set out, and the staff are helpful and sensible. We enjoyed finding the things that we wanted and found the effort that went into finding suitable boxes, etc, so that it could be packed properly was very helpful to us. The shop has a small area where you can make coffee for yourself but I don't know whether that will remain when refurbishment of the restaurant is finished (end June 2013?). This wasn't our first visit to Indra and it won't be the last.

This place was on a short list of things to do whilst in Lampang and initially seemed the most uninviting. We arrived too late to view the workshop demos there (maybe a good thing?) and proceeded directly to the outlet shop. There was LOTS of interesting and beautiful stuff there. I looked round the first showroom, buying nothing, but the second showroom was full of seconds ( some looked as good as the originals) and I and my friends all bought a few items - which I am using now. Beautiful and cheap! We were paying 10 to 50 baht for god's sake!!
