Spent five nights at Blue Heaven and after reading previous reviews have come to the conclusion that people really need to lighten up.
Sure, blue heaven may be quite isolated - all the more reason to stay if you wish to escape the tourist scene, in fact the isolation was quite a highlight of our trip. A taxi ride away from the main pier and Sairee, a 25 minute walk to Aow Luek bay (definitely not for the faint hearted!) alternatively a cab to Aow Luek.
Rooms are comfortable and accurate to online images with fans and mosquitoe nets. As with all bungalow accommodation in south east Asia, ensure you have mosquito repellent and coils. Also expect the fact that due to the beautiful surroundings the bungalows have been built you may or may not come across some geckos and centipedes - it was there environment before the bungalows were built.
Views from bungalows are second to none! Words can't do the views justice! The fact that wifi / phone reception isn't available from bungalows really shouldn't be an issue with views this great - put your phone away and immerse yourself in it. For those dependant on wifi, the connection at reception / the restaurant is great.
Food at the restaurant (breakfast, lunch and dinner) was definitely a highlight of our time at Blue Heaven!
Do not miss the French toast for breakfast.
Fried chicken (starters on main menu)...Spent five nights at Blue Heaven and after reading previous reviews have come to the conclusion that people really need to lighten up.

Service, what can I say?! Mak and his team can't be commended enough! The friendly welcoming service cannot be faulted and made this amazing place hard to leave, nothing was an issue! Transfer from pier to blue heaven is available if preorganised alleviating the stress of dealing with it yourself on arrival.
Overall, any online images or anything written do not do this place justice, will definitely be back!More
