“Love this place ”

Me and my boyfriend live on koh tao and this is by far one of our favorite restaurants. Whenever we have something special to celebrate we go here. The owners are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to take care of you. Food can sometimes take awhile, but the atmosphere is so nice it doesn't matter. This place is a gem

“Best Home-Made Pasta”

Staff are warm, welcoming and keen to give customers a memorable experience with amazing flavours and a romantic, atmospheric and cosy place to relax. Lovely alternative to Thai food.

“Overrated”
Reviewed August 3, 2014 via mobile

We went here because of the reviwes. It started great with a wondeful appetizer - the bruschetta. Delicious!

Then we took the gnocchi gorgonzola and the spenach ravioli. The gnocchi basically tasted like a lump of dough with cheese sauce and the spenach ravioli was all dripping in oil and butter... Maybe its supposed to be that way, but in our opinion - even Vapiano has waaaay better pasta than here!

Then we decided to order one dessert to share but yet, we got two. Instead of taking one back he made us have both. The desserts were nothing special.

Can't see what all theese reviwes are about cause we didn't experience them at all.

The bruschetta was fantastic though.

“An amazing surprise!”
Reviewed July 31, 2014 via mobile

We decided to go to this restaurant because of the reviews on here. I'm so glad we did. It's tucked up a side street, so I'm not sure you'd come across it without looking for it. It's a complete gem. A very simple menu, but everything cooked from fresh and absolutely delicious. We couldn't resist 3 courses as we didn't want it to end! The ambience is a bit quirky too which we really enjoyed. As everything is freshly cooked, it takes a bit longer, so be patient, you're in for a treat.

“Lives up to the reviews on here!”
Reviewed July 25, 2014 via mobile

This restaurant was luckily very close to where we were staying (Koh Tao Studio 1) but if you're a bit more central in the Sairee area then you won't just stumble upon it. At the 7-Eleven junction, go the opposite way from the 7-Eleven shop and keep walking for about 5-10 minutes and it will be there on your right hand side. (Don't be put off by the stretch of road that's not very well lit).

Anyway now you've found it, IT IS AMAZING.

Myself and my girlfriend had Bruschetta to start which was so fresh and the bread had been cooked by the couple themselves.

The gnocchi gorgonzola was perfect, the portion was the perfect amount very rich in flavour!

Nikki the chef even gave us some bread to scoop the sauce up with and explained how in Italy they call this bit of bread the 'Scarpetta' which means little shoe in Italy.

Her husband Ellio is the warm and friendly waiter who is very chatty and personable.

All in all this was undoubtedly the best Italian I've had and well worth a visit!
