To write this one is a little tricky. If TripAdvisor wanted us to only review the quality of food I'd have given 5 stars. All the dishes prepared freshly by the owner Nikki (a real Italian character) are superb! You'll have the perfect taste experience. You have to wait a little longer but you can be sure everything is homemade, prepared by Nikki herself. The menu is manageable and sometimes prices vary in each menu. If you are picky concerning such things, make sure you ask for the right price beforehand. We can actually recommend everything we've tried so far (pasta dishes, veal, potato dumplings (not on the menu but ask for it, too good!) or all the sweet treats). Very authentic and not out of a freezer, heated up in a microwave. Real culinary skills!
The downside (and in my eyes it's only one thing) were the discrepancies between Nikki and her husband. He came into the restaurant starting an argument with her in front of the guests what is very unprofessional. He seemed to be a grumpy man who doesn't care about customers or appreciating what his wife is doing (and she has to manage the whole restaurant herself including cooking). What a shame as Nikki is really trying hard and we had the impression that he's not helping her in any way apart from giving her a hard time. We came back a second time because we really loved the food but that guy always seems to ruin the atmosphere in there...what a pity!
