Myself and my other half stayed here over the summer during our three week holiday to Thailand. I am so surprised reading some of the reviews. We absolutely adored the place. After staying in a five star hotel in Bangkok and a very expensive hotel in Khao Phi Phi we could not believe our luck when we got to 'In Touch'...the cheapest accommodation we had booked Firstly the lady at reception was the nicest we met on our trip. No problems with english / communication. We opted for a superior room (still cheap as chips!!) and we were delighted. The room was basic but very big. Bathroom was very big also with a huge shower! Our room was cleaned for us everyday without charge (part of the superior room deal). We ate at the hotel on our first night and we were delighted with the food. There was so much of it for such a great price and it was really nice. The location of the restaurant could not have been any better, right on the beach! We wandered through the busier parts of the island on other nights but couldn't find any restaurant that matched 'In Touch'. It was very romantic with beautiful lights and brilliant staff!! Lovely cocktails too!
Again, I cannot understand some of the reviews here. I know people do not like to have bugs in their room (me included) but you are in Thailand!! There are bugs everywhere!!!! Thankfully we had none in our room or bathroom here.
Really could not recommend the place highly enough. Thanks to all the staff for giving us fantastic stay!
