I wient with my wife to this resort. It was the most beautiful resort that I have ever been to in my life. We spent a week and wish that we had planned to stay longer. I will never forget such beauty.
The diving was exceptional. Time seemed to go by so fast. The water is so clear almost a turquoise color and the fish are truely exotic. Everything about the visit was GREAT. We are coming back next year with friends and spending a couple weeks!!!

We had a great coupl eof days here.beautiful pool and cute little beach short walk from restaurant. staff is very friendly. the stairs are kinda steep but they have a golf cart to drive you up when you get tired of walking. the rooms are brand new and very comfortable and the view from the balcony is amazing. also there is great snorkling here. we also went out to sairee beach one night and were able to arrange with the hotel to be picked up which was great. we loved it and are definetly coming back!

Management couldn't organise their way out of a paper bag here. It makes sense because they are clearly just starting out. In a few years once they have it down pat I'm sure it will be great. They messed up our booking and then went back on their offer for free meals to compensate us for the fact that we had to accept a lower roomer for the first few nights. Electricity works only sometimes, hot water is solar, so (given that half the island is diving) when you come back from a wet day diving and want a warm shower, chances our there won't be any.

We hired one of the bigger 250cc bikes because the road up to it would be a bit much for two people on a small scooter.

We appreciate you bringing the mentioned issues to our attention and apologize for failing to provide you with higher service quality during your stay. We would like to assure you that all matters mentioned have been dealt with to ensure our guests are having a truly relaxing experience at out resort in the future.

1) Since your stay with us our staff has been intensively trained in their respective work fields and is now perfectly skilled to deal with the requests and concerns of our guests.

2) As the water heating via the installed solar panels has proven inefficient on rainy and cloudy days, we have now installed separate water heaters in all bathrooms.

3) Unfortunately, the electricity supply by the local office is unreliable to the extent that we have to generate our own electricity. However, for maintenance reasons our generators have to be shut down once a day. This down time we keep to a maximum of 30 minutes, usually less, and schedule it so as to create the least possible discomfort for guests.

4) Furthermore, we are happy to announce that all construction works within the resort have successfully been finished and neither noise disturbance nor any other inconveniences on that part will occur in the future.

Similarly to the previous review, we were told this hotel was on Sairee Beach, when actually it's not there at all and really hard to get to - you basically need to take a cab anytime you want to do anything out of the hotel (walking + scooters are close to impossible).
Even with the cab you're going up and down a crazy road that has you clinging to your life! It can be fun the first time though, I have to admit ;).

When we got there I was really really disappointed as simple things like going for dinner in town, walking about, just normal stuff is out of the question - you're just away from everything and staying locked in my hotel is not my idea of a holiday.

However the place did offer a really amazing view, with clean comfortable rooms (most were finished when we got there, but it's true that there is some building going on still) and a great swimming pool facing the sea. No beach though. For me it seemed like a pretty but horribly boring place to be, but maybe families would like it if they're looking to stay between themselves and being cut off from the world in a nice setting.
Get ready for exercise though, as there are tons of steps to get from one thing to another.

'Luckily' for us, due to overbooking (!) we were given a twin room instead of a double room so we managed to cancel our whole stay (without paying a thing). The receptionist was helpful and even found us another hotel herself (right in the middle of the town, near Sairee Beach, MUCH better) and drove us there for free.

We kept thinking how lucky we were to have been able to cancel our stay as it just wasn't what we were after at all - the site should be much clearer on what to expect (hard to access, cut-off from everything, no beach etc.).

1. We sincerely apologize that misleading information concerning the location of our resort was published on the internet and has caused quite some frustration on the part of our visitors. We have attended to this matter as soon as we found out and have prompted immediate rectification.

2. As you mentioned our hotels rooms offer an amazing view over the Golf of Thailand and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed it. This unique sea view our guests can enjoy only thanks to the slightly remote hillside setting of our property. This inevitably results in a number of steps and slopes connecting the various facilities of our house. So our visitors do not have to cover the longer distances entirely on foot, we have introduced a comfortable shuttle bus service that operates between 6 different stops including our beach and swimming pool at the bottom of the hill.

We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and are truly sorry you were left with such a negative first impression that you decided to change to a different hotel. We hope we can restore your trust in our hotels and welcome you at some point in the near future again. We booked this NEW resort, a group of 5 friends, on agoda.com ... It was apparently located on Sairee Beach where we wanted to stay and the pictures looked great. After arriving on koh Tao, an island I'm very familiar with, the concern started when the transport turned right AWAY from Sairee Beach. We were then being driven up a steep, winding road, kilometres from anywhere. When we arrived, all we could hear was angle grinders, hammering, smell and see dirt, construction dust, half finished buildings. My stomach dropped - we had fallen for the trap. If you look closely at the pictures online of this resort, you can actually see that the images of the buildings are computer enhanced - they're not even completely constructed yet!!!!! So, we go to the half built reception, show the Dutch/German owner that our agoda voucher clearly says "sairee beach" and he simply shrugged and said we needed to sort it out with agoda. I pointed out the ammount of construction (it looked like a building site!!!) and he shrugged and said nothing, looking like a school boy who had just been caught out. Absolute charlatan - who puts FAKE computer generated images on their site!?!?. We are also STILL waiting for a response and refund from Agoda. Disgusted doesn't even sum up how we all feel right now. It's an example of the nasty people on this earth that get by taking advantage of others - it's called karma, buddy.
