We booked the beach resort on agoda just two days before staying there, got an amazing deal, the rooms are all individual chalets perched on a hill with views to die for, breakfast was really good , staff very friendly and attentive . The resort is far enough away from Phi Phi town as that is pretty grubby and run down.

Room Tip: All great rooms on the hill.

The hotel transportation arrangement was good. The view was stunning just from our superior room. We can see Phi Phi Ley and the ocean from the room. Rooms were spacious, equipped with new amenities and well organized. Some lights were broken so that takes away some stars. The front desk can be improved as they seem to be "no smiles". The food at the restaurant and the massage service was great. Blacktip Scuba (part of the hotel) was awesome with good services. Had 2 great dives with them.

we stayed in phi phi the beach resort for 3 night during our trip through asia. sure, this hotel is not cheap for thai standard, but on phi phi you´ll be fast out of money....you have to pay for this small paradise :)
hotel is located in a small hill, so if you have a room with sea view, you need to walk up and down, but this wasn´t problem for us. rooms were clean, pretty nice with basic equipment and big terrace with sea view.
staff was friendly, everyone was speaking simple english. nice outdoor breakfast with good choice for everyone. regarding the beach, our part was one of the best on long beach. hotel restaurant and bar was fine, with great food but high prices regarding thai standard. sure for us, europeans, is it still cheap(coke 60thb, beer 120thb, meal 200-400thb)
would recommend to everyone visiting phi phi.

We stayed here one night as a couple the rooms are great with views overlooking phi phi lai. It's a nice resort away from the madness of phi phi town. Entry and exit by long tail boat or they can drive you by taxi. A lot of stairs to the bungalows but they offer rides via golf buggys. Small pool full of kids but an awesome beach right on the resort with amazing snorkling. Would recommend for family's or couples. Nice little bar next door with great fire show at 9pm and a few more bars along the beach if you can't be bothered going into town. Free dinner and breakfast is offered although we never took them up due to having to travel on.

Positive: I really loved this place! Just to list few good remarks:
- Great location. 10 minutes away (by boat) from the messy and chaotic Phi Phi village.
- Water is crystal clear and many colorful fishes are swimming around you very close to the shore.
- Snorkling is great there (but watch out: always keep an eye to the long-tale boats passing by)
- There is a small scuba diving school on site, with very professional instructors. You can get your PADI certificate within 4 days.
- Rooms are very clean and door/Windows are closing very well, which means: no mosquitos in the room :-) View from the room terrace is gorgeous.

Negative: I honestly cannot find a real "negative" point.
Pineapple and watermelon are the only fruits you may find during breakfast which is quie sad, as there are so many delicious fruits in the Island.
