“Very good location in Phi Phi - if you're for remote place rather than loud and crowded places”
Reviewed December 17, 2011

Probabaly this is one of the best options in Phi Phi, because it is at the remote end of the island.. The prices are certainly higher than the ones in te central part, but we prefered quietness and not crowded beaches. At this area Natural Resort is the cheapest option.

The bungalow was comfortable and simple, the garden was beautiful. However out of the 3 places we stayed during our holiday in Thailand, the breakfast was the worst here. The food did not seem to be fresh, except the fruit.

We stayed at the Phi Phi natural resort. They took a good care of us all the way from the Tonsai Pier via the boat ride and throughout the check in process. The villa was very poor maintained, with broken tiles at the bathroom and general feeling of inconvinience. The buffe lunch was very bad. There is nothing to do there - but the setting is most beatifull. If I go again to Phi Phi I am sure that I will find a much better place.

My wife and I spent two nights here and loved the resort. It's not as posh looking as the Holiday Inn, but it is much more secluded at the end of the beach. All of the resorts in this area are along a 1/2 mile stretch of beach. We booked a sea view room that overlooked the ocean, sort of on a cliff. What was nice was that no one walks in front of your room since its not over a beach. However, that's also the downside of the resort, it doesnt have a beach. But I think that you arrange with the "concierge" for beach chair use. I quoted that because he wasn't very helpful, every time we asked for recommendations on what we should do, he just pulled out a binder and smiled. Though he was really nice!

We did book a snorkel cruise on a long tail boat to the two islands closest to the resort (just the two of us on the boat!), through the hotel, it was an amazing experience!

Where the resort really came through for us was on the second night, we were walking up the beach looking for a restaurant and it was starting to storm hard, the waves were rough, the tide was high, and there was very little beach! But I digress, back at the room, we had left the windows open to the ocean air! It's one of the nice perks of a sea view room over the ocean, so why not! Well when it's storming is a good reason of why not! Anyway, the room and bed should have been soaked, but they had someone come by and check on all the rooms, we got back to the room and it was all buttoned up! Awesome!

One last thing, booking a Long Tail boat excursion is really easy, we had luck just walking the beach, we got the nicest boat captain/guide who took us to monkey beach. We paid the same as we would have paid the hotel, but this guy and his family got all the dough. 1000 baht is pretty cheap for a private snorkel/beach excursion, so we didn't negotiate.

bungalows are well equipt and not that bad looking, has own private small beach good for sunbathing and snorkelling as there is a reef with quite a few fish.
main lobby area need updating and food is average to poor.
comparing it to the other resorts next door its a bit of a dump but the location is good.

I stayed here recently with my 28 year old daughter for 3 days . I have to admit that I found it an amazing place to recover from the 12 hours flight from the UK! Peaceful with a nice ambience, just right for the start of our holiday in Thailand. The staff were friendly and the bungalow was in a good location within easy walking distance of amenities. We did relax around the pool at times as the beach disappears when the tide is up! Great for snorkelling and safe. Can hire kayaks as well quite cheaply from the hotel. Free Wi Fi. We lunched and had dinner at one of the other hotels along the beach after our first day.. That's not to say that the buffet lunch at the hotel was poor, only that we wanted to visit the other places for a change. The long boats bring you right up to the hotel side where the massage tent is also worth a visit. 350 bahts for an hour although be warned the Thai massage is not for the faint hearted! Opt for an oil massage if you want relaxation and not manipulation! I couldn't move the next day! Overall an enjoyable stay for 3 days - we were ready to move on then to a place where we could explore and visit other places. So we went to Krabi which was fabulous [in another review]

Room Tip: Ask for a conveniently located bungalow as some are way up in the hills

located at a very decent and remote beach we found the peace we wanted. the service is excellent, welcoming and friendly. the rooms was also quite acceptable. however, in general we found the price a bit too much for this medium-tier hotel. also, there was no food available outside lunch and predefined times, so the overall pool and beach experience was not perfect
