A beautiful spot that is definitely worth seeing. Literally just a beach and photo opportunity (and shack selling refreshments) so unless you want to lie on the beach all day you don't need too long there.

There is literally no "perfect" time to be there.... because the perfect time is when the sun is actually hitting the bay, and that is usually when all the tourists are there.... so visit it "to say you were there" but don't expect it to be the absolute highlight of your trip... you may be slightly disappointed with all the boats on the beach and the cloudy water...

So beautiful but so many boats and people. We stayed on a boat to be the first to get to the bay and completely different. Amazing without all the people and boats.

This beach was the best beach I have ever been to. You have to take a boat to get here. We took two banana boat to get here with 30 people. Its a bit rocky in the middle so I would bring water shoes. Very scenic. Great time.

Choose one of the plankton snorkeling tours. Don't pay more than 1200 Baht per person. A boat will take you out to Maya Bay where you can see the beach where the movie "The Beach" was filmed. It's very crowded but worth it. Then you'll so a bit of snorkeling and/or canoeing off the boat. As the sun sets, you'll be served dinner. And when the sun has gone down completely, you'll be able to snorkel at night and see the luminescent plankton. Such a magical experience!
