This hotel should have been very good at least 10 years ago because the localization is great and the facilities are beautiful when we see the professional photos (which have been talen for sure many years ago). Unfortunetly the staff of the Hotel is very bad they don’t care about anything and the facilities are very degraded and old with no conditions to be valued as a good hotel (it is not anymore). The cleaning is very bad, the bed sheets are old with many dark spots, the furniture of the room is a mess (very old), the toilet is embarassing and the swimming pool has a dark floor because it is not cleaned (it should be blue)....not to mention that if you need any help from them (like opeening an umbrella or to have a chair in the swimming pool...) be prepared to do everything by yourself because no one is there to assist you...the first thing that the swimming pool guy asked me (after i have been looking for him for about 15minutes just to get a towel) was if i wanted to rent a boat so he could earn some money and didn’t get the towel for me...

My friends and I stayed here for New years this year, and the hotel served its purpose.

Staff: Very helpful to us, check in was smooth and they were friendly.

Hotel: At first sight it looks nice but as you look harder you can see some need for improvements. It's not crumbling just needs some pant and replacement hardware. Our room had a killer view of the bay. The bathroom left a lot to be imagined, but our shower wasn't super terrible and i don't recall the shower water being hot. That said it might not have been hot because our AC did not work in the room. The rooms are NOT sound proof, you can hear the bass thumping from the bars and clubs down the beach, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The pool was pretty nice and refreshing, and the staff who worked the pool area were friendly. Breakfast was pretty good as well, a small buffet that had everything you would need to start your day. All in all the hotel needs some updates. Wifi didn't work in the room either, we had to sit on our balcony to use it.

Location: Not a bad location, close to the small downtown area and the pier where you catch the ferries. Quick access to both bays where you can charter one of the small boats for the day.

Ko Phi Phi was a great island and Phi Phi Island Cabana was the complete opposite. We hated the place because it was so disgusting and the maintenance was a terrible. The showers were moldy and everything didn’t work. We barely walked into the room and mosquitos everywhere.... I mean everywhere and they said that it’s normal to have mosquitos. True to Thailand but not for a self proclaimed upscale hotel. We went outside and didn’t get bitten by any mosquito.... in the room, 11 bites.

Truth.... just go somewhere else. No joke.

We love this hotel and the location on Koh Phi Phi but the hotel has some issues and needs work. We never had hot water once over our 5-night stay. They kept telling us it would be fixed "today". Also, the air conditioning in the room did not keep up with the heat. It is inadequate a fan would have been better. If not for these issues I would have given them five stars. But these are big issues for me. The location is really nice. Just far enough out of town to be away from the noise and Partiers but close enough for convenience. Some of the best views in the world. Easy access to both beaches.
