My friends and I stayed here for New years this year, and the hotel served its purpose.

Staff: Very helpful to us, check in was smooth and they were friendly.

Hotel: At first sight it looks nice but as you look harder you can see some need for improvements. It's not crumbling just needs some pant and replacement hardware. Our room had a killer view of the bay. The bathroom left a lot to be imagined, but our shower wasn't super terrible and i don't recall the shower water being hot. That said it might not have been hot because our AC did not work in the room. The rooms are NOT sound proof, you can hear the bass thumping from the bars and clubs down the beach, bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The pool was pretty nice and refreshing, and the staff who worked the pool area were friendly. Breakfast was pretty good as well, a small buffet that had everything you would need to start your day. All in all the hotel needs some updates. Wifi didn't work in the room either, we had to sit on our balcony to use it.

Location: Not a bad location, close to the small downtown area and the pier where you catch the ferries. Quick access to both bays where you can charter one of the small boats for the day.

Ko Phi Phi was a great island and Phi Phi Island Cabana was the complete opposite. We hated the place because it was so disgusting and the maintenance was a terrible. The showers were moldy and everything didn’t work. We barely walked into the room and mosquitos everywhere.... I mean everywhere and they said that it’s normal to have mosquitos. True to Thailand but not for a self proclaimed upscale hotel. We went outside and didn’t get bitten by any mosquito.... in the room, 11 bites.

Truth.... just go somewhere else. No joke.

We love this hotel and the location on Koh Phi Phi but the hotel has some issues and needs work. We never had hot water once over our 5-night stay. They kept telling us it would be fixed "today". Also, the air conditioning in the room did not keep up with the heat. It is inadequate a fan would have been better. If not for these issues I would have given them five stars. But these are big issues for me. The location is really nice. Just far enough out of town to be away from the noise and Partiers but close enough for convenience. Some of the best views in the world. Easy access to both beaches.

This hotel is in the best position possible. Our room 2305 has the most beautiful view I have ever seen over looking the beach. Unfortunately as we found out, the view comes at a price. On an evening from 8pm to 3am the noise coming from the beach parties is unreal. To be fair to the hotel, they provided me with ear plugs and the problem was resolved but you can not sit on your balcony after 8pm. Other rooms do not suffer from the noise though so be sure to ask for a quiet room when booking.
The rooms were adequate with everything you need but could do with a bit of love and care.
Breakfast was fine for my meat eating husband but I’m vegan and there was nothing for me. Every bit of hot food included some kind of animal. This really needs addressing.
The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful and the few downsides to the hotel are washed away by the chance to sit round the fabulous pool and enjoy the scenery.
Overall I would come back in a heartbeat and with a bit of money and care this hotel could be world class.

We had a mouse in the shower, the door in the shower was broken and the AC was so old that it pulls out dust all over the room and our bed while we were sleeping.
The rooms are very old and this hotel does not justified its prices!
Very disappointing!!!
