Paid top dollar for this place, only to arrive and find a run down room! Our air conditioner wasn't working properly (our rooms was hot and humid), bathroom shower would n't open and close and then it would get jammed when it did open and then our curtain wouldn't close!! The staff were quite helpful though, they came and fixed all the problems as soon as we complained. I didn't appreciate arriving to that! The breakfast wasn't anything special either.
On the positive side, the pool and location was amazing! Beautiful pool and right on the beach. You had both beaches on either side. The pier was also just a short stroll away - was very convenient.

Basically the hotel was very eh. Nothing special. There was a real 'beachy' feel to it and by that I mean, for a place that should have pretty new facilities (from my understanding most of Phi Phi Island was reconstructed after the tsunami), this place was lacking. It didn't appear very modern or clean. For the price, it really just didn't seem worth it. Next time, I may pay a bit more for a very high end resort on Phi Phi because if I'm already going to shell out over $200+ a night, I might as well be happy with what I'm getting. That said, the pool area with the view was absolutely stunning.

As soon as u near Phi-Phi you know you are headed to a beautiful place. Just close to the pier is this Hotel Cabana. What a location !!! The Hotel has beaches on two sides.
Our check-in was pretty swift. They upgraded us to a sea-view room without we even asking for it :). The view from our room was amazing. Swimming pool is quite big in size. Breakfast had a lot of variety, mostly non-veg though...A disadvantage for Vegetarians like us.
Overall i will highly recommend this hotel to all travellers planning to visit Phi-Phi...

We were booked in a different hotel and only realised on 99 that it was on the end of the island. Town can only be reached by longtail boat. We had to pay an extra 500 US dollar for 2 rooms for 2 nights to upgrade to this hotel.
Paint pealing from wall, coffee stains against wall next to kettle. Holes in woodwork where something was screwed on previously. I expected more from the staff for what we paid.
If you want to go to Phi Phi for the party atmosphere stay cheaper. We paid 8000 bath per room per night. I shopped around on the island and got Hotels for 3200 bath and rooms for 1500 bath. The noise from the beach parties force you to sleep with ear plugs, that after we attended the party. Next time I'll go I will stay closer to the center of town. For a third of the price you will not get a third of the value. You don't need a pool, the sea is 20m away.
Breakfast was average, got more from Seaview Patong Beach Hotel in Phuket.

Room Tip: If you are worried about the noise, choose pool facing rooms. Don't stay in the wing closest to town.

The pro of this Hotel is certainly its location which is 5 min walk from the pier, on the left inside; for that reason you really are at. The centre of Phi Phi.
The pool is huge with its waterfall diplay and also the unique position facin a stanning bay; always plenty sun loungers available.
The con: did not find the staff particularly friendly. Having spent over £125british pound x night I would have expected free wifi.
The breakfast is served on a very nice terrace but the food quality is mediocre.
Overall the Hotel has a sense of DATED and is on strong need of refurbishment.
Still njoyed my staying but i think the next time i visit i would probably choose a different hotel.
