I believe that this is one of the most awesome beach in the world. it was filmed by hollywood not for nothing, it is because it is really a breath-taking view of the world. Maya Bay, Bamboo island, Phi Phi Don are just places that i visited. Bamboo Island i believe is the best place out of all the places ive visited. It has the most amazing view and best place for photography, we had around 45-an hour there just lying around in the sand and swim in the water, this would most likely be the first point where most tour groups would be at. It is really serene, the sand is really fine and water is crystal clear. Laying down and just get a tan is fine too!
Maya Bay, was just crowded it is so small that there wasn't much space to walk around because it looks sardine packed with tourists all over the world. The really cool beach is just pretty much ruined because of this fact. But there is a fact that can't be changed, which is the softest sand that i have felt ever. it is even softer than the one at Bamboo Island.
Phi Phi Don is the last stop, where we had buffet lunch which is of decent quality and a few hours of shopping and exploration of the island. We also had snorkelling, it was amazing that we had 2 spots to snorkel for about 30 minutes each before heading to lunch. We had lunch at around 1PM. It has many scuba diving centers, fruit shakes shops and places just to chill out. There is much souvenirs to buy, but i would recommend going back to Aonang to get them. The harbour is littered with many floating boats that doesn't really give it much of a view to expect.
Time: Full day 8AM to 4.30PM
Price:1500baht at Aonang Villa Resort
Tour Guide: Speaks English and Thai.
-takes around 45 mins to the first stop and less than an hour to the next few places. and then about an hour from Phi Phi Don back to Aonang
*they provided bottled water and the tour guide was awesome by providing fresh fruits and local delights.*
We gave them a tip of 100 baht after the trip and took a picture with him! anyways tips for those who are afraid of roller coasters or fast moving speed boats, SIT AT THE BACK, it really lessens the impact!
