We wanted to try all the restaurants in the village behind the outrigger so this was part of the routine. Mr Chet the owner came up and introduced himself, and personally recommended which dishes we should try. He was always more than happy to have a chat, and he extended happy hour for us one night because we came in a bit later. He introduced us to his lovely wife too who cooks the food.

Mr Chet was the one who tol us about the amazing Nui Bay, and how to get there which was a massive highlight of our trip. We never would have known about it otherwise. He also lent us snorkelling gear at absolutely no cost.

Highly recommend this place. If you're walking towards the village from the resort, it is the furthest restaurant on your left.

This place is a MUST for anybody going to Phi Phi Island, We stumbled upon it walking behind the hotel we were staying at (The Outrigger) and were so glad that we did.
We sat down and ordered a couple of cocktails and lunch when the lovely Mr Chet came up and introduced himself and asked if we would like to see some photos of the tours he does. With the "100% Gaurentee to see sharks" sign I was quite intrigued and after flicking through a few photos booked in the 5 hour trip for only $49 each you get to snorkle a few locations where yes we did see sharks! visit Maya bay (The film the Beach was filmed there) A Lagoon with crystal clear waters and a provided lunch on another secluded beach with picnic rug and drinks. This pretty much made our trip and owe the greatest of thanks to Mr Chet. We are heading back to thailand in september and really hope to catch up with him and his family again. if anybody else has been or planning to go and know his details via email or however please let me know.

My boyfriend and I found Knockout Bar by venturing behind the back of Outrigger Resort (as suggested by others on Tripadvisor!). The owner Chet and his family were so very friendly and welcoming! We went in for a 'happy hour' drink on our 2nd day and went back everyday after that for food and drinks. The food is quite cheap but amazing!.. All lovely thai dishes cooked fresh by Chet's wife. The knockout chicken is good it's very popular! The atmosphere of the bar is so relaxing, there's chilled music in the background and fans to keep us cool. We went on a boat trip with Chet.. (which was very well priced compared to some of the other local trips). We went snorkelling and saw some gorgeous fish and reef sharks! His knowledge of the area is fantastic. We just could not fault Knockout bar, it's a perfect place to go for food, drinks and to relax and the staff are wonderful!

Ventured out the back of the outrigger resort as suggested by other users. We were greatest with warm welcomes and smiling faces. We had the knock out bars special fried chicken, which was fantastic! A chicken and herb in coconut milk soup, also amazing, tempura squid to follow. Seriously, we were so full but it all tasted so good so we ended up eating the whole lots and having a nap after! The bar owner, Mr. Chet showed us a photo album of the long boat day out he offers, it all looked like a good time so we put a deposit down for that. The next day we were taken to maya (beach?) for photos and a swim, a few snorkeling spots and that was honestly the highlight of my whole two weeks in Thailand, then a packed lunch on a little secluded beach. He had packed chicken with fried rice and fresh fruit to follow. All day he provided us with water and soft drinks. The whole day went from 8am-1pm, costing 1500TBH and Mr. Chet was a legend the whole way through. Totally worth every cent! I more than highly reccomend everyone to go with him for day tours rather than the main companies where you pay more and it's not personal at all. Today was just amazing. I need a better and bigger word than amazing.
