We were very happy with our 4 days visit in this hotel.
No other hotel in Lam Tong has such a long, full of trees beautiful beach.
They offered us rooms upgrade when we arrived - so that we can have connected rooms - and we appreciate it. 15 steps from the room to the beach - infront of us. No one sits near you cos the beach is long enough. Very Clean. It is less clean near the sea gypsy village, but this is no longer the hotel area. Yet YASMIN the sea gypsy's restaurant is much better and much cheaper than the hotel's restaurants. Rooms are not 5 stars, but they are very big.Yet, the bathroom is a big minus. They can do better. Another minus is the food.
All together the beautiful beach and the nice atmosphere were more dominant for us.
The staff was great (both in the front desk and boats desk) allways smiling and helping.

Very nice and big resort. Everything you would wish for on a beach location. Very nice sunset bar/place. Birds are a bit intrusive over breakfast. Food ok. The pool is small, but ok. Untroubled stay. Rooms ok. Quiet. Fantastic beach location for a quiet family holiday. Excursions to the famous beach location from the Film - "The beach" with Leonardo Di Caprio - a must see. Do an excursion to any of the many secluded bays by Longtail boat, they are of stunning natural beauty! It is a dream world. Must be one of the best locations on earth. Good snorkeling. A dream location.

We stayed in the neighbouring Pho Phi Village Resort for six nights before coming here.... what a disappointment. Not even sure where to start. The rooms are decorated with... nothing. The mattress is so bad that you literally feel like you are sleeping in a hammock. Just awful, I am extensive traveller and this one gets the price for the worst bed I have ever had in a hotel. TV programs cater for asian clients only. The minibar is empty bar two small bottles of water. The deco is nonexistant. Just a room without any love or style whatsoever. The bathroom is plain awful, it is tiny, smelly and in bad shape. When you leave the room, the aircon shuts down, which means when you return you will enter an oven. It will take 15 minutes at least for the room to cool down, you can spend that time standing on your front deck getting eaten by mosquitoes, because quite fortunately the bungalow is built right into a swamp.
Next was the food: YUCK ! They announced a special fisherman's buffet night and we thought that might be good..... we were wrong. For a very pricey 700 Baht, you get bland, lukewarm food and most of it is not even seafood. Breakfast was better but still pretty average for the 400 Baht they charge for it.
The pool is old and neglected, not a nice sight at all. CHeap tiles, awkwards colours and very few sunbeds.
Internet access by wireless is not free but costs a significant amount of money... also not a nice gesture.
The beach is quite nice in some stretches, but there is hell of a lot of rubbish on the beach which is never cleaned up because it is located on the stretch of beach which belongs to the Sea Gypsy Village. What a disgrace that is, just rubbish everywhere, it stinks, it smells, there are dead fish and half cut chickens and all kinds of disgusting rubbish, and nobody will every clean it up. So the romantic stroll along the beach means coming from a nice beach to an absolute dump. What a shame !
The only highlight was the teammember Mr. Beow who we have to recommend highly for being extremely friendly, polite and professional. I think he sensed our dsiappointment and tried his best to give us some quality treatment. Thanks Beow, it did not go unnoticed.

My wife, our four year old daughter and I loved this place. The Bungalow (I can only speak for the one we stayed in) was a little dated, but we were just 20 meters from the beach with a nice patio. The minibar is empty when you arrive, so stock up before you arrive – the prices in the shop are similar to restaurant prices. Restaurants are average to good but remember there is no competition in the area so prices set according to that (on the other hand – everything has to be shipped in by boat so costs are higher than on the mainland)
I do not know what to highlight more: the beach/scenery or the staff – both was absolutely great (really really great). The resort has a very calm and mellow atmosphere. Go here if you like to relax and read a book – not if you are looking for a party. I’m pretty sure we will be back again next year.

We spent 5 nights here in July this year and it was fantastic - I couldnt speak higher of it.
When we arrived we were whisked off the boat with a lovely welcome, fresh juice and cold towel, checkin all processed for us while we relaxed, and shown to our gorgeous room.
The beach is stunning, the net is great to swim inside and feel safe, the restaurants are lovely and food amazing... we just had an overall great time.
We had our 8month old with us and the staff were all friendly, playful with her and helpful.
Once we found the massage hut on the beach we were in paradise!
Theres that restaurant next door for cheaper, large, local food and a little shop too for beer and water and snacks (although the resort shop wasnt super exxy and we are budget travelers).
The buffet breakfast is a massive spread and always fresh... ummm... I think thats it! I cant sing higher praises, we had a really lovely stay and couldnt ask for more.
Yes its far away from the pier... we knew that and went intentionally.
Also we wanted to do a boat trip and couldnt because the water was too rough - every day. I didnt realise it before I went but that is quite common, so maybe be prepared for that to happen. We found other ways to fill our day anyway and had an awsum stay! Thanks Holiday Inn :)

We had 2 marvellous days and nights at the Holiday Inn in Phi Phi island. The warm welcome was just a perfect start of the remaining 2 days. We were offered a welcome drink and refreshing towels at check-in and were upgraded to an even better bungalow as part of the priorityclub program. The pool and beach provided a stunning view and the whole resort is nicely located in a very green garden situated along the beach site.
The service and breakfast was superb.... and even the choice of coffees was amazing... not just a regular coffee for breakfast but espresso or latte's where all included.
The personalized approach and service of the Holliday Inn staff was very professional and much appreciated, while the invitation to the welcome party provided an opportunity to learn to know the staff members better and to obtain more information about the offered programs.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this beautiful resort and it will surely be on our list if we ever return to Phi Phi Island.

Stayed here on 15th October. First impressions were "wow". Mainly because its on the paradise island, but it really was paradise. Check in was an experience - we didnt actually have to que up, the guy came over to us gave us drinks took our confirmation came back asked us to sign and then escorted us to our bungalow. No hassle at all. The garden bungalow is great, it has all the things you will need from a comfy bed, to towels and bathrobes. The pool and spa were great, shops were good and the restaurants were good. Good food and great value for money. We booked a tour to Maya Bay (The Beach) through the hotel which suprisingly was very cheap! 1663 baht for 2 people for 4 hours in a longtail boat which include other sights along the way. I would definatley recommend this tour and this hotel to others. I am a travel agent and will be recommending this hotel to my clients.
