We had spent 3 nights in the main town before moving to Viking for a well needed break from the noise and smell!
Last time I came to Phi Phi I stayed on Long Beach which is double the price of staying here yet you can walk to long beach (be prepared to climb down a fairly steep banking - but well lit and has ropes to hang on to) in 5 minutes.
The rooms are lovely and have so much character. The manager and all the staff seemed great. They even upgraded us to a beach view bunglalow as the one we had booked had been damaged in a storm. There was no extra charge for this and he included breakfast. Very happy with this.
We didnt get a chance to eat an evening meal here but they do free tasters so you can try different dishes to see what you like before ordering anything. I thought this was a really nice idea.
Would definitely recommend
