I stayed here as the island was very full and the hotels I wanted to stay in we're booked. This was good value for money great location and clean. Make sure you don't get the bottom room which I had for one night - no windows and felt like a prison. Staff were v friendly. Good find and very secure!

We payed 70 usd for a night. Great location right in the center of Phi Phi and only 5 minutes from the beautiful beach of the island.
Very good and helpful servise by the owner of the hotel.
Don't miss the viewpoint of the island, and dont forget to eat the huge pankakes on the way up

Clean, cheap and comfortable. What more can I ask for? On the real, we weren't in our rooms much as we were enjoying the BeachLife and food! But this spot is all the basics you need. Clean safe and cheap. Front staff were very friendly and fun. Location is excellent I have no complaints

We paid $57 for the standard twin room - without breakfast - and this proved to be by far the worst value night of our three week trip to SE Asia. The room felt a bit like a basement prison cell. It was actually on the ground floor, but was very small and with no real windows - just some frosted glass that looks onto a nearby wall.. The bathroom was growing mould, with water from the shower collecting by the toilet, the bedroom walls had been poorly repainted, the TV reception was bad and channel choice very limited.

Out of hours (after 20.00), reception was only only contactable by phone.

The breakfast room I saw in photos now seems to be a storeroom....overall very disappointing and I feel I am probably being generous giving it 2 out of 5!

Room Tip: Don't choose a 'standard' room.

Rooms were clean and seemed safe, location comfortable in terms of vincinity of clubs/pubs/bars/shops etc. At the same time it was quiet as far away enough from the loudest parties at the Loh Dalam Bay. Overall very nice stay.
Paper-thin door (which makes you hear your neighbours coming back from parties at night), but to be honest we slept well and did not have much trouble with loud neighbours.
The hotel is located vis a vis a local food market (fresh fruit and seafood), which might be considered a drawback if you don't like the specific smell (we only felt it outside the hotel, not inside the room located on the other side of the building, but I'm not sure about the rooms facing the market).

Room Tip: Get one not facing the food market.

After doing a air bit of research on accomodation for Phi Phi, the logical choice was one of the guesthouses. They are well kept, clean and cheap with good amenities. Ivory was just that with the market for decent cheap food opposite, good sized tv, good air con and nice bathroom. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and are able to oganise tours and laundry. Phi Phi is for partying and sightseeing. You dont need a fancy hotel, and they are overpriced for what you can get in Phuket or Lanta or somewhere else.

DO NOT miss out on visiting the viewpoint! Postcard views. Bamboo Island and Maya Bay (The Beach) are must visits as well and are included on the Phi Phi all day tour. Slinkys was the best of the beach clubs while I was there. Get a bucket from the guy in the street. Cheaper and real vodka, then just walk in from the beach ;) enjoy!

Room Tip: Request a balcony!

This was a good clean hotel in the middle of Phi Phi Island. The staff are very friendly and helpful with any issues. As a solo traveller this wasn't the best place for me to stay as it made meeting people very difficult but this does not reflect on the quality of the hotel which would be perfect for couples.
