The location is good, right across from the pier in Tonsai Village but other than that, there is nothing to recommend here. The rooms are big but is basically a mattress on the floor. It is pricy and while everything is expensive on phi phi, you can get a much better place than this for the same price.
You can't hear the loud music all night long from here so that would be a positive.

We stayed 3 nights at Phi Phi Inn, we saw the scary reviews but we didn't have any trouble with any sort of bugs, the room was clean and was cleaned regularly.
Air con worked well and was quiet, staff were helpful when asked e.g. how to use the safe.
Location was very close to the pier and main shopping areas and beaches.
Obviously it's not a 5 star resort, it was basic but did the job and was affordable!

hi everyone, me and my girl friend went to ko phi phi inn hotel on march 10, 2012 and realize that our room was infested by bed bugs blood sucking after we got bites and saw bugs and our blood spot in the bed at the morning.

We asked for a room change at the same hotel, and realize that all the beds sheet had old blood spot stain. Statement: hotel infestation. Run......

also our bathroom was smelling terrible. bad air condition. we ask for a refund before going through the second night since we've paid 2 night previously. we got our money back and left to charlie's princess which was much better for the same price around 1600 baths per night breakfast included. enjoy your trip on the island!

Room tip: check room and bed sheets before booking...Go to Charlies'

Arriving at the Inn i thought it was just ok...rooms were very dated and plain for what we were paying. However it was very close to the beach so i was content....Until on the third day i was having a shower and noticed something thread like on my skin..so it turns out there was actually worms coming through the shower head(i have photos to prove it)...My boyfriend collected afew worms of the bathroom floor and showed them to the staff they did not seem suprised and when we asked for discount for the three nights we had stayed they threatened to call the thai police and told us to leave the premises quickly as the boat was about to arrive from Phuket and they wanted to fill our room...!!!!! We ended up having to pay full money and we were left to find a room on Phi Phi Island at 5pm, which can be quite difficult. The staff in the Phi Phi Inn were highly disrespectful, ignorant and extremely abusive...The worst place iv ever stayed in Thailand and this is my third trip here.

Room tip: DO NOT stay here unless you want to be infested with worms and abused by staff....

The Ritz it is not so be prepared to rough it for the night if your compared to luxury, for what we paid 1600 baht we couldn't really argue, decent size double bed, air conditioning and a working shower that delivered hot water. Be prepared to book your hotel early on Phi Phi as many travellers arrive without digs and the hotels sell rooms late at a premium price. Phi Phi is amazing and we would suggest the Shark Swimming experience on Long Beach as a must. Enjoy.

Room tip: Book Early !
