“DISGUSTING DISGUSTING DISGUSTING !!!!”
Reviewed September 16, 2013

When we booked this hotel on-line we we're attracted at the "beautiful pool picture" they show you. What a joke !!! It looks NOTHING like this, and the pool is about 5 min walk from the actual resort, they share the pool with their "sister resort" The pool is dirty and falling apart.
Upon arrival, we were shocked how dirty the rooms are and the staff's attitude. It was SO BAD, that we chose to walk away.
We booked for 2 nights at THB1200 per night and it was so bad, we were chose to loose our money. We walked away and stayed at the Phi-Phi Hotel.

Awful hotel, way more expensive than its worth.
Rooms are dirty, construction is loud and makes you wake up too early, staff is very rude.
In this price (at least 100 thb per room) you can find much better places.

Stayed here because it was close to the beach and the pool was nice. Our room was dirty and felt like sand was in the bed. We also spotted a hair or 2 in the bed. Ate by the pool and had a chicken sandwich, the bun was molded and chicken tasted rotten. Avoid at all cost.. In fact unless you can afford the Holiday Inn or another expensive hotel on the north side of the island Stay Away.. Island is very dirty and smells of sewage everywhere... Roach infested and I became very I'll with diarrhea on my last day...

We stayed at the Charlie PP resort during a two week tour of Thailand. Phi Phi is a beautiful island and has one hotel worth staying in which is the Holiday Inn. PP Beach Resort looks nothing like the pictures and doesn’t have any of the things they claim to have such as WiFi or secure rooms. They charge you for the safe, any marks on towels and bedding, plus demand a large deposit which isn’t returned until they’ve fully inspected the room. That said, it was fairly cheap, close to the beach and quite. Speaking to others on the island this did sound like the best of the bad hotels, but like stated stay at the Holiday Inn if you can! Not sure I’d return to this hotel given the choice.

All the terrible reviews on here are too true. We walked in to here as Phi Phi is only small and as it was classed as a resort we chose this over guesthouses, how wrong we were.

Extremely expensive at 1200b a night, which was the cheapest room and didn't include breakfast. Although the rooms were relatively nice, you didn't get wifi in them, and unfortunately it was noisy outside at night, despite us staying there over the full moon party so it was probably quieter than normal. The water in the shower and taps was very salty and could have come from the sea! The hotel was basically a construction site and everything was half finished.

The pool is in a beautiful location however it's in bad condition; the sun beds are black with dirt and the umbrellas are rusty. They were blaring out the most horrendous music at the bar and there was a girl with a gaping open wound in the pool, you wouldn't have got me in there!

It's a beautiful place just sad what they've done with it. Don't stay here.

Positives, great pool, met lots of people and had great craic, the room wasn't great but at under a tenner a head it was totally sufficient and personally i had no problems with the cleanliness of the room and the housekeepers.
Negs, Right ok so the pool is quite a distance from the hotel, their food is pathetic and badly situated well away from the hotel but i generally dont eat at the hotels, there is construction just starting on a new building which woke us at 8am every morning.. even worse is the block to the far right where i was staying was close to a beach club called Slinky which blasts the tunes until 5am

just don't expect much sleep, wear earplugs or be choosy about where the room is, this is not a "resort" I had a wild time all the same!

Room Tip: get one from one of the blocks closest to reception, DO NOT go over to the block on the far right

DO NOT stay at this hotel! It is filthy dirty the photos of this hotel couldn't be more deceiving! Blood and stains on bed linen and towels even when changed! Smells of mould air con leaked all over my clothes leaving them smelling like mould and foist! When we complained we were simply told we had booked an economy room and this was what you got for that price. I have never been more disappointed with the level of hygiene and was desperate to leave. Please don't waste your holiday in such an awful place.
