“Good hotel not so good service”

For a 4 star hotel not to have internet in the rooms, Lobby/ reception closes at 9pm and not even a guard on anywhere at night when u have to sit by yourself around the pool cause it's the only place u get Internet wasn't great. Food below average and service not good.

We first visited haad yuan five years ago and feel in love with it. We recently stayed for a week with our adult children (and their friends) aged 19 to 26...we booked three rooms at Pariya. One had very bad air conditioning and although we asked for it to be fixed it never was. Disappointing. The other two rooms were perfect re the air conditioning but one was half way up the hill and its a bit of a hill climb. The pillows are very hard and the wifi is just absolutely lousy. Its so slow and can only be accessed near the pool. It's very very very slow. The pool is excellent and so it the beach. We spent all day under the trees relaxing and reading and swimming..We don't eat at their restaurant as there is way better food at Big Blue and Bamboo Hut. Better and way cheaper.

Also be aware that on Saturday and Tuesday nights Eden ( a bar at the end of the north end of the beach ) holds a party that starts at midnight and finishes at midday! I have stayed here three times and its never been a problem but it can be...just be aware...best to get a villa on the lowest level ( you cant hear the party from there as the noise travels up the hill!) and also you don't have to mountain climb to get back to your room. We found the service sufficient..just be polite and nice and they will fix most things ( except the air conditioner....we asked to move rooms when we first arrived and after some discussion this was arranged ...be patient and don't get angry...it wont help you to fix your problem)

Overall a beautiful beach starting to be spoiled by the party scene...I don't think we will go back ( we have stayed 3 times now) but the beach is very relaxing , the food is great at bamboo hut and big blue ...the massage at the south end of the beach is also excellent...Pariya would be perfect if the party at Eden moved elsewhere and if Pariya had working ( ie: cold ) air conditioners in all rooms

We stayed here for a couple of days with our 6 month old baby. It's a boat trip away from the Koh Pha Ngan madness in Haad Rin. Therefore, the beach is not too busy, so perfect for us. And what a nice place Pariya is! We really enjoyed the comfort of this place, especially with a baby. And this is the only place on the beach with a pool! The staff was very helpful and simply loved our baby. And don't forget the buffet breakfast. A perfect start of the day! Can't wait till we get back.

Room Tip: if possible, have a walk around first. There are places on the beach and some are a bit more in the...

Stayed here with my Best Friend as part of a 'Mini Thailand Tour' for my 21st Birthday. We stayed here for Partying before heading off to Bangkok for sightseeing and after Koh Samui for Relaxation.

We were greeted at Koh Phanghan pier by Two Staff Members and were driven up to the Hotel. The drive was crazy! But honestly, rally fun. We had Bob Marley playing in the car as we were going all sorts of humps and through massive ditches! It was absolutely mad! We giggled the whole way.

Upon arrival, we found the resort literally deserted! One person on Reception and Two Bar Staff. We were shown to our room by one of the gents who picked us up from the pier and we gave him a tip as he was very polite.

The room was lovely, the bathroom was weird, in a good way! We felt like we were showering in the jungle. The pool was lush and the Beach was perfect!

We tried the food at the hotel a few times, all was good. Nothing special, but standard as you'd expect.

You can catch a taxi-boat into Haad Rin, but be careful. They can be intimidating at night when there's only two of you.

This place is heaven!! At first we were a little disappointed to find out it was only accessible by boat but once we got there the beach has everything you need a few bars/restaurants and a little shop. There are plenty of boats to and from so it's very easy to move about, honestly it is so worth it and it takes 5/10 mins to get over to the main beach but once I saw it and the town and the beach over at Hadrin I'm glad we were staying nowhere near there! The resort has a lovely pool and is right on the beach where breakfast is served in the morning. The rooms are immaculate and so stylishly beautiful, probably the best place we have ever stayed. You have a little terrace outside your room which is lovely to sit on with a cold beer after and long day at the beach, room service is daily with fresh towels and water each day. This is such a beautiful resort in an even more beautiful location. Defiantly worth a visit!

Ignore all the reviews saying this hotel is hard to get to. It isn't. You simply get a long tail boat from haad rin beach (full moon party) which takes 5 minutes and cost about 150-200 bhat each depending on how many of you there are.
This hotel is for those wanting to get away from the nightlife in haad rin and chill in the hidden paradise island of koh phangan.
The hotel has very spacious rooms and very large bathrooms, this was the nicest hotel we stayed in in thailand, the mosiquito net is needed as the room is very open to the outside however I did not get bit but my boyfriend did even wearing jungle formula spray.
The flies here are very annoying round breakfast and lunch and it feels like you cannot escape them but the massages are a must at 300 bhat for 30mins (£6) it was the best massage i'd had in thailand.

If you are looking for a chill out place then this is it, and if your looking to party stay here at the weekend and visit eden garden in the cliff side which has a party which last until 11am the next day!

This place is the most difficult place to get to in the whole of Thailand, then once your there they charge you a fortune to leave!

It costs 650 baht per person to get a 4x4 to the property, then every time we wanted to lave the premises we had to catch a boat that costs 250 baht per person. non negotiable. complete rip off!

Staff have terrible English, and all the rooms are open to the wild.

In our short stay there we experienced a blackout every 30-60 minutes which was terrible at night as the air conditioner would switch off.

They also only have hot water between certain hours...something they fail to mention until you have paid and checked in.

This was the worst place I stayed at throughout the whole of Thailand.

Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with mosquito nets!
