Firstly this place looks stunning and I cannot comment on the resort itself as we didn't stay there.
We did however come to eat at the restaurant.
I feel the need to comment as it was a little cheeky... We were offered water at the beginning of our meal- we later found out this cost us 250 baht- we were not shown a menu at this point and it would have been nice to have been told the price before hand!
Now we eat at at expensive restaurants frequently and have no qualms paying for good food, but I ordered the Thai green curry. My husband enjoyed his tiger prawn dish but my dish had hardly any meat in it, some of it gristly...
We had 2 cocktails, 2 mains and our expensive bottle of water. It cost us 2000 baht... That is £40 and very expensive for what we got.
The service was good once they eventually gave us a menu- we had to wait over 10 minutes, the band playing were fantastic... but be warned this is a very pricey restaurant compared to other restaurants on the beach.
