This was our favourite restaurant in Koh Phangan. Super healthy, clean, mostly organic simple food; red rice, lots of steam veggies, very little seasoning (in a good way) a good selection of beans and legumes, macro bowls, soups and sandwichs (amazing bread!). The first time I saw tempeh in quite a while! They cold press their own sunflower and coconut oils and have a great selection of packaged spices, teas, seeds, homemade snacks and natural health products for sale.

This restaurant is, together with Atma café located just down the road at Agama Yoga school, the best place to eat for vegans, vegetarians, yogis and macrobiotic-minded people on the island of Koh Phangan. The food is clean, simple and delicious, the setting is really beautiful and the staff friendly and reliable. As far as I know the owner is a certain Kosta, a Greek expat on Koh Phangan. As all foreign-owned establishments, it is more pricy than Thai places, but you definitely get what you pay for. So far the only place I've found where you can order beans (great variety: mung beans, adzuki, chickpea soup, hummus, plus tempeh and of course tofu). Brown rice is of the red, thai variety and comes with most of the meal sets, and they have really good sourdough bread and rye bread (amazing sandwiches, with tofu/tempeh and walnuts!). The only minuses are that the food is mostly cold (most of the dishes have to be made in advance, especially those with beans, but once you know that it's up to you what you order), and that they don't have WiFi.

Exquisite, truly delicious, the cooking, consistency, original taste of the ingredients, combining the fresh vegetables, roots, herbs, the oils pressed in front of your eyes, more exactly on your table, sesame, almond, sunflower pits, golden flax all these toghether with rice and pineaple vinegar to season your salad, the hokaido pumpkin soup so creamy with only freshly prepared almond milk to add to it. Very well prepared the buckwheat risoto, vegetable nituke, the 3 year old <misso - tahini - lime sauce, the very delicate tempura as dry as it comes, crunchy outside, light and soft inside, they told me the batter is so dry because the <kudzu root flour mixed in the batter does not allow it to absorb oil, the deserts are also light and delicious, no flour, no eggs, no sugar, no milk, no margarine, no butter,no refied salt, then how can they do such delicious fruit pies, cakes, creams ???, This little place on the pleasant village of Srii Thanu, the <¡Yoga and Dance Mecca of the <Poh <phan Gghan <Island, away from the full moon craze is worth a visit, if your taste buds are longing for the true natural taste of the foods, properly and carefully prepared, you, wil be totally satisfied. The owner the young Greek Organic Food master in Thailand who is also a great clothing designer enjoys the offering of traditional natural food with great pride. He brings the organic products from <greece, the <organiic Sea Salt from Portugal, grains from Mongolia, Misso from Japan, Very nice table ware. Thanks for the great food and time.
