This was one of the 6 or so restaurants that I had shortlisted to check out for our 3 nights in Salad Beach.
Most of the others, while looking close on a map required a long walk along narrow dark roads with no footpaths, or were closed or just didn't look so flash in real life.
Salad Hut is right on the beach, was open and had some people in it.
I ordered a club sandwich and my wife a vegetarian curry.
We went back that night and I got a curry and my wife a feta baguette. For dessert we had fried ice cream and banana pancakes.
Not the cheapest place but good food and service. Staff very friendly and helpful. Gave us local advice.
We ended up eating there every night.
Highly recommend the papaya salad and the red curry tamarind soup with shrimps.
The WiFi also works well.
