This place is a family bussiness, with (I guess) around 15 bungalows built on a slope that ends at the beach. Some of the bungalows are actually ón the beach. For us, this was a perfect place to stay during a full moon party; only 10 minutes to get there but far enough away from the whole crazyness to get completely relaxed. Thong Yang Bungalow has it's own two small beaches, hammocks and a big central veranda where delicious fresh food is served whole day. Really, don't be alarmed by the size of the menu (it's huuuuuge for such a small place), during our stay everything we ordered was cooked completely fresh - or at least that's how it tasted.
The bungalows themselves are very basic but clean, with hard beds and mostly without hot water. But honestly, who needs a bed when there's a beach and who needs a hot shower when the sea is 30 degrees celcius? :-)
In total, I strongly recommend this place, especially for full moon partyers who don't want to stay at hysterical Hat Rin.More
