“Amazing value for money!”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

I Stayed here February 2012 whilst traveling, was far enough away from Hadrin beach to chill out yet near enough to get to the full moon party! The hotel organised taxis which were cheap and took around 25mins!
The bungalows were perfect stayed in a basic fan bungalow and air conditioned, the air conditioned is a bit more but worth it as the bungalow was more luxurious and bigger. Private beach was beautiful literally breathtaking! Also has a restaurant and bar which served lovely food and drinks! Would recommend to anyone great value for money! Probably my favorite place to stay in Thailand any bad reviews must be for those on a holiday wanting 5* but for travellers this will be the best place you stay! :-)

STAY AWAY!

This is by far the worst hotel we had in all the years of our vacations in Thailand. Extremely overpriced fan bungalows, infested with ants and cockroaches (in the BED), mold and disgusting smell from the bathroom. No water pressure in the shower. Horribly unfriendly staff.
Sleep on the beach for free and you'll have less insects.

We stopped here for a couple of days on a tour of koh phangan. The site in stunning, bright blue clear water with White sands. A finishing village close by with probably the most amazing Italian restaurant you could ever wish for.

Bungalows reasonable with air conditioning also available. Amazing small restaurant on the beach with a very nice swimming pool.

So if your looking for a chilled out couple of days this is he perfect place.

Room Tip: Air conditioned room are more expensive but probably worth it.

Nice location, but the web-pict. are not completely honnest, maybe on a very high tide, the beach and resto area look like a real island. Apart from that, a good price/value resort, very clean, fresh sheets and towels every day even beachtowels. Need a motorbike if you stay longer than a few days. Very quiet and Relax!

Room Tip: airco bungalows have best location

i prepaid on agoda for three nights at 20 euro a night, otherwise I would have checked out. The website makes it look like its on a private beach when in fact its only 100m from a very busy fishing port. The water is too shallow to swim in. Staff view guests as human ATM machines and try to rip you off from word go. The resort was completely empty, not surprised. go to bottle beach instead, breathtaking.

We stayed here for the Full Moon party, like many others. We stayed in the cheapest bungalow, fan and cold water. It was fine! Simple, very quiet in the day and you could sit in the hammock and not be bothered all day. The private beach was OK, but had a bit of rubbish washed up, but it doesn't matter because the pool was really good.

The little village is a 10 minute walk away, either by beach, or by road but don't forget to take a torch at night! When we were there, a festival was on that had loud music that we could hear all they way back in our bungalow.

The staff organised a cheap taxi to the full moon party and also takes you to the pier for the ferry for a small price.

Overall its a nice place to do nothing, but it is a bit isolated and overpriced for what you get.

We stayed at Malibu for 4 days all payed before arrival. We were not very pleased as we payed 3500 THB pr night and we really felt like arriving in a money-machine especially the staff and the breakfast was dissapointing. breakfast was VERY simple, no müsli or youghurts and cold eggs, as the breakfast buffet is outside it´s also filled with flyes. The staff was not very friendly at all, no free wifi had to pay 40 bath to make a print. The staff hardly look at us and no-one was giving us a smile and we didn't at all feel wellcome.
They charged us dooble price fore longtail boat to bottlebeach. The aircon bungalow was fine and clean and the beds were very good, and also the outside hammock, but as the beach is far away you have no seaview.....
It is very very isolated and not a place I would visit again, far too expensive fore what it is..... we visited Hat Mae hat (Ko Ma), bootle beach and Hat Yao and will very much recommend these places. If we hadn't payed all in advance we had moved right away and the resorts there you can get much better than Malibu fore half the money.
