“A piece of heaven on earth....”

Seaflower is, thanks to Lise, Chai and the outrageous crew, THE place to stay at Haad Chao Phao. We have stayed at different places on this beach before but nothing compares to Seaflower. The restaurant is surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden almost overlooking the sea. The food is fantastic. Our favourite bungalow is Nr. 2. From the huge terasse u have a great view into the garden and onto the sea. Thanks to the great people who work there, cleaning, gardening, laundry, kitchen, bar....this place is always neat and well taken care off. One of the highlights is the "Heaven bar" down at the beach. Having a little "Seaflower gossip" with Lise or the bartender starts off the evening, followed by a great cocktail, a seafood BBQ to die for, and some ice old Chang. And when the mood is right some dancing to some very cool and chilling music will wrap up the nite.
Thanks to our "Seaflower family" we spent 6 great weeks in Paradise and we will be back next year....... For sure..... Can't wait......

This ist the 4th time we've stayed at the Seaflower and it's for sure not our last, because we fall in love with this place.
The resort is set in a wonderful, lush tropical garden and it offers a wide range of different bungalows. You can choose between a simple bamboo hut and a comfortable concrete bungalow with aircon right on the beach. The food which is served at the restaurant and also at the bar is delicous and very reasonable.
But what makes this place so special is the the ambiance, which is very relaxing and laidback. You can meet cool people from all over the world and have a nice chat with them.
Lise and Chai the onwer of the resort are such nice and welcoming people who makes you feel like a family member.
I can highly recommend this place to everyone who are not expecting 5 star service, but great atmosphere.

I call this "my little piece of Heaven on earth"... My sister and I stayed in the Traditional Double Bungalow with A/C at the Seaflower for 3 weeks in August/September of 2011 and we had a fantastic time! The staff and owners, Lise and Chai, were very friendly, courteous and professional at all times.

As my sister and I ventured out for many walks in the Chao Pao Beach area, we could see that the Seaflower Bungalows were clearly the most authentic/traditional in style, which was the atmosphere we were hoping for. Amongst the wonderful landscape of flowers, bushes and trees, our bungalow was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food, experienced either in the restaurant or the bar, was always delicious and very well-priced. One morning at breakfast, owner Chai came to the restaurant with a variety of traditional Thai fruit and had invited all the guests to experience the taste.

At the "Heaven" bar, facing the ocean and witness to the diverse breathtaking sunsets, Chai and his friend, on a few occasions, enticed us with traditional Thai music. As a tradition and weather permitting, Lise would offer Chinese lanterns to guests on the eve of their departure. These were just a few of several personal touches that the owners offered their guests to make them feel so welcomed.

I wish I could go again this year, but am looking forward to my next vacation at the Seaflower Bungalows in 2013!

I have never written a review on tripadvisor, however after our recent unpleasant stay at Seaflower, I felt compelled to write to warn others off this place.

My boyfriend and I recently booked to stay here for 4 nights but checked out after just 2 nights.

Seaflower bungalows consists of dark, dingy and tired old huts. The bed in our bungalow was akin to sleeping on concrete and the rattly old fan meant that we got zero sleep for the two nights we stayed, and were left grouchy, tired and stiff. The uncomfort of the beds triggered my boyfriend's old sports injury. When we pilotely went to tell the owner/manger (a rude american lady) that we wanted to check out early due to the uncomfort of the beds, she responded by saying "no one else had ever complained" and "it wasn't her problem" and then demanded that we pay for an extra day. As we just wanted to get out of there, we paid and quickly left.

Other negatives of Seaflower, is the dingy restaurant which is undercover and in the middle of the "complex". All other accomodation on the beach, has their restaurant area overlooking the beach. They have a bar area called "Heaven",,,, which is a total contradiction in terms.... more like hell.

Chao Pao is an amazing beach and has lots of accomodation of which Seaflower is the worst by a long long way.

I would not recommend Seaflower to anyone but would strongly recommend the american lady who runs the place changes her attitude...

Room Tip: Go to a different resort! Sunset Cove and Blue Ocean Gardens a million times better!

We stayed for one week at Seaflower Bungalows and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere there is one of a kind! Many thanks to Lise, Chai, Josh and Pascale and the others for superb service!

We stayed in the Ocean Cottage, Bungalow 20, which is located right at beach, just 5 meters from the water. For us, 2 adults and 2 kids, it was just perfect for us. It´s nice to be able to sit on the front terass of the cottage with a perfect view over the kids playing in the shallow water.

The food is amazing! It tastes really good, the menu is great and the prices is almost too low...

And we met a lot of friendly and nice people staying at the Seaflower, and hopefully we´ll meet them again, because we will definately go back soon!!!

I stayed here in a Classic wooden bungalow with my boyfriend and bestfriend for 5 nights, it was a nice size room with a heated shower. There was just fans on the ceiling that didn't really do the trick onthe really hot nights. On the whole the room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom was quite large.
The food in the large open beautifully crafted restaurant was very good and very well priced. At this resort you keep a running tab of food and drink and pay on your last day, which was freeing, and suprisingly affordable at the end of our stay.
The beach is small in comparison to Bophut beach (where we came from), but gorgeous, you don't see sunrise but you can see sunset.
The foliage and landscaping is soo beautiful at this resort as well.
The one thing that dampened our experience here was that we had seen the Sea Trek that the Seaflower offers, on their website. When we booked our stay online we let the owner know that we really wanted to go on this trek (a 2 night camping trip on a private island), she notified us that they don't book it in advance due to availability of the sea captain and weather. So the day we arrived we told her that we would like to do it, she told us that the weather was looking good and she would put a sign up out and organize it. the next day she said that there were enough people but the Captain couldn't go that day, so the next day we asked and she said the Captain said the wind was too strong. Meanwhile we were watching other people go on day trips out on the water and thinking that we would wait it out and go with the Seaflower, so it came down to our 2nd last day and the owner told us that the trek probably wouldn't happen. By then all the other day trips you could book with other companies were booked.
Koh phangan is such a beautiful spot, and much less tourist infested than Koh Phi Phi, so we were really disappointed to have missed the chance to explore the surrounding national parks.

We stayed here for 4 nights in November 2011 and had a fantastic time. If you want a quiet, relaxing beach getaway, this is a great place for that.

The accommodation consists of a range of small bungalows set over a small plot of land and we stayed in a great bungalow right on the beach. Our accommodation was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable.

The staff are all very friendly and always chatty, making conversation. They serve a range of Thai and western food which, although not 5-star quality, is very nice and they have a great little bar on the beach which they open up in the evening.

Seaflower Bungalows is located in the north-west of Koh Pha Ngan, so completely the opposite side to Hat Rin, where the Full Moon Party. It's great in that respect as it means you're in a quieter location and you can relax on the nice beach. However, it's only about 30 minutes by taxi to Hat Rin should you want to go there and the staff can help arrange for you to get there.

The only slight issue we had was that our beds weren't made up, nor were we given clean towels or tissue paper during our stay, so it would be nice if that was included also in the future.

If I return to Koh Pha Ngan, I will definitely stay here again.
